That's the issue I have. All Nov and Dec filers are not waiting. I have seen the end of Nov PD getting approved. If they would work the entire month instead of leaving apps on slow people desk for extra months it would be more fair. If there is not a problem with the case push it forward. If there is a problem update the database so the calling center can answer the questions instead of reading a script. It should be a process if the website was updated to Nov 15th then all prior cases should reviewed and either noted or approved. If not then don't update the website and don't move forward cause it is not a fair representation of the actual timeline. How hard is it to type waiting on background check  in the system. The Tier 2 guy told me it is at the officer discretion if they want to update the file. I'm thinking it should be a requirement.

From what I learned earlier, service center play games with the dates to improve their performances. They are held accountable (to a certain degree) by congress for all the delays, so they jump ahead in the cases and then publish an average date they are working on to actually hide their lack of performance. It is what it is right now and it is only up to us to patiently wait or get frustrated. The outcome is not gonna change in either case. Good luck to all

Hi ! I'm a US Citizen and I filed the I-130 for my Honduran husband on Nov. 9 NOA 1 Nov 15, and the I-129F on Nov. 28 NOA 1 on Dec 9. Both were sent to Nebraska. Passed the dates now and I submitted an inquiry on July 12, 2017. They haven't been assigned therefore, they haven't been processed. Any clue as to why this may have happened?

SO i called on Monday July 24 and was told basically the same thing I can see online. Now I was told if I don't hear anything by August 11 to call back on August 14 and submit a subsequent inquiry. Not sure how we got skipped.... Any suggestions?

Yea.. we are all clueless why this is happening. I think you can mail your senator for help. If you happen to be in Northern California, you can submit a form to the senator for help (https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/_cache/files/5/4/542c7fa9-29f8-4e0d-ade3-3108b4322aaf/F50C994E36E991E0E47C6DE5FA3CC35C.immig-assistance-form-v0912.pdf). If you are not in California, you can check your your Senator's website to see if they have such a form. I am going to mail mine today. Hopefully I will get some good result. Good luck to you!

How do you know when you're outside the processing time?

You can check the processing times on this page: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

My PD is 11/28 and i saw many cases approved on the case tracker app but some (like mine) are not. I really don't get how they work and its frustrating but we also shouldn't forget that Nebraska got 65347 petitions between October and December while 133930 we're still pending lol (https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/Reports and Studies/Immigration Forms Data/Family-Based/I130_performancedata_fy2017_qtr1.pdf see page 4)

Hey, I thought I would update since there aren't many real updates.  Got approval notice by text this morning, I-130 approved on 07/25/2017.  PD 11/29/2016.  On to the NVC, hopefully things are finally freeing up in Nebraska!  I know its frustrating to see these updates, particularly for all of you with PDs before ours but I think it's better to find out that at applications are being approved.

I got approval email today morning 4am.

The actual approval date was on July 25, 2017 according to USCIS.

I have updated my VJ Timeline.

PD: 28 Nov.

NOA1: 1st Dec

NOA: 27th July ( Actual approved as of USCIS is 25th)

I thought the first NOA on VJ timeline was the same as PD? Anyways congrats!

I've seen some movement on some 29-Nov-2017 cases at Nebraska:

"On 25-Jul-2017, some cases have been transferred and a new office has Jurisdiction"

I guess they are transferring some cases out of Nebraska. This does not look good at all for the transferred cases. It depends where they were sent and how behind they are also...

sad sad sad

This was posted on the other Nebraska forum. Congrats on all the approvals and figured this should be here in case anyone else sees transfers/movement.

NOA: notice of action

PD: priority date

You find these two dates on the letter you got from uscis.
