Congrats on the approvals!!🎉 Any more approvals today? PD Nov 16, 251 days wait 😬 Anyone with the same or earlier PD still waiting? I keep questioning whether there is something wrong with our application.. It's hard to not worry like that.

PD Nov 7, still waiting too :-(

PD October 26, still waiting. Over 270days of waiting. 😌

I think your date is out of processing time according to the website? Have you submitted an Enquiry ? I was hoping to hear  the good news before the end of July for all  the November filers... but  started losing hope... Good Luck to all of us , the November filers..

Have you contacted your congressman or scheduled an Infopass appointment?

My husband did contact USCIS and was told we should give them another 60 days, but we will contact them again August to know what's going on. At this point we just want to hit the 60 days then we probably contact the ombudsman's office. I heard they also help with such isssues.

Another 60 days?!?!?! Waw.. that's like another 2 months.. That means Nov filers have to wait even longer. :(

This nightmare will continue for November and December filers also. The backlog wil continue to grow and then NVC will become the bottleneck as the applications get approved. What a mess

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

Yes. This was actually their response: 👇🏽

The status of this service request is:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

My PD is Nov 9. I called the USCIS and they told me to call back in 2 weeks. I watired 3 to be safe. When I did call they put in a request and told me I had to wait 15 days. When I called back they told me it's not 15 days it's 30. I hope you don't wait 60 days just for them to enter a request that will take another 30 days to get a response. The Tier 2 guy told me that if the officer working the case don't update the records then they can't see the status on their end when you call. The Tier 1 lady also advised me to schedule an appointment. You might want to schedule an appointment so you can talk to a person face to face that has access to the actual status of your case. I recently scheduled an appointment and called the congressman. He said they usually get a reply sooner than 30 days.

That's USCIS canned response, that's what i have seen most all people receive. The Black Hole of Nebraska  needs to get their act together, this back log is beyond ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

October 31, 2016 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

That's the issue I have. All Nov and Dec filers are not waiting. I have seen the end of Nov PD getting approved. If they would work the entire month instead of leaving apps on slow people desk for extra months it would be more fair. If there is not a problem with the case push it forward. If there is a problem update the database so the calling center can answer the questions instead of reading a script. It should be a process if the website was updated to Nov 15th then all prior cases should reviewed and either noted or approved. If not then don't update the website and don't move forward cause it is not a fair representation of the actual timeline. How hard is it to type waiting on background check  in the system. The Tier 2 guy told me it is at the officer discretion if they want to update the file. I'm thinking it should be a requirement.

I agree 100%! It really should be a requirement to update it.
