I still think it has to do with who has our applications. I am sure they are short handed, also I know each person works at their own pace. Also in consideration they too have a life with tribulations that also has to play in the affect of our application. We have to look at the center as actual people just like we are. I hope we all get a speedy person!!!!

I just can't wait anymore

Not sure about calling but you can email and request an expedite after you receive approval from uscis. You need your NVC case number first and it's best to do it as soon as you have it because if approved you don't have to pay any fees until the time of interview. You would send your request to NVCExpedite@state.gov

They generally respond within five days with an answer. Be sure to upload any proof of your request for the expedite and send it with your email.

Thank you!

I am 260 days and still waiting. Mine is November 7th 2016. I only submitted an inquiry on July 10th and I got a response just saying my case is under review. I checked on the USCIS processing time and they are currently processing cases as of November 15th and that is why I think they are telling you that you are still under normal processing time. Maybe I should try calling too because my case is before the date they posted on the website.

Yea and when I check the case tracker app, I can see people with similar cases as mine.. There are still many cases with NOA Nov 7th still not approved and I see some from October as well! This is way way too long and crazy!

Yes and I even see people with a later date than mine getting approved.. I seriously think it's because our cases are handled by this one person who is out on vacation or something. We will see what happens. I'll wait a week and if I don't get any response, I'll probably call them and still not approved, I don't know. Even my lawyer says we just have to wait.

You should ask to speak with a Tier 2 representative.  Also, have you tried contacting your congressmen or senator for help?

I'll try the Tier 2 representative, but contacting a congressman or senator? Not sure if I should go that route.

They are supposed to help you. For some it helps others it does not. I see you are in Daly City. I am in Hayward. I contacted senator Dianne Feinstein's office. If you go to her webpage there is a section for immigration help. They contacted USCIS on my behalf but being that I am still within "Normal processing" wasn't much that could be done. They did say if I needed to have the case expedited send proof and they would send it to the congressional supervisory unit at USCIS for immediate review. It's worth a try, especially since your case is outside normal processing at this time.

That is really interesting. It's new to me. Thanks for letting me know! I just found the application on her website. I will do that today! Thank you!
