We will be faced with the same delays at the NVC stage because the bottle neck will just move to NVC.

I don't see this year happening at all unless we get NOA2 this week, then we might have a chance, remote but still a chance

My PD is Nov 28th. Desperately waitingfor NOA2. But its looks like its not going to happen soon. I havent seen my wife for so long. Now im thinking about going visit my wife's country(india) and stay with her for some time. If possible bring here together with me.

But i have a concern about the affect that might make in our i-130.

Does it really make anu difference in my processing?

Is it a really good idea to go and see my wife for a about 2 months or so?

If there would be any RFEs or any other paper work, would i be able to do everything from being in india?

Ps: i live with my family so i do not have to worry about missing physical mails etc.

Again, I really like to be with my wife but same time dont want it to make any effect on our processing.

I hope to get some positive advices and suggestion.

Thank yoi

I have made reservations to go to Barcelona to be with my hubby since it's almost a year of not being with him. I just wonder how the set up is in Nebraska. I mean there has been plenty of approvals before my PD and plenty afterwards. I mean, is it one person who maybe was out on sick leave that the cases were assigned to them hasn't been touched and nobody there thought about the cases that is sitting on that person's desk waiting for them to come back and start working through them?

Im just wondering why the approvals are so scattered everywhere....

I'm starting to think that too. It's at least 2-3 weeks before the cases are even on file at NVC let alone receiving the documents then at least what 4 weeks after case closed at NVC for the interview......

I tried to hold out before going to Spain to be with my husband. It was hopeless. I made reservations today for September 5 for 2 weeks. One year is long enough to wait. I don't care if I come back a month later for an interview. I need to see him.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

Probably on the desk of the same officer we are all waiting on. Probably been out for the last 8 weeks because of being sick or something and hasn't came back full time and nobody thinks to look at their case load for us who is still waiting.

It shouldnt make any difference to your I130. It could be an issue if you are the only sponsor, but if you have a co-sponsor than it should be an issue either. Just make sure you maintain residence in the US so you can show that you actually live there.

I see that two November 7th filers were approved yesterday. There are some more November 7th filers who still show Case was received. We should be getting close! Hopefully this week! Can't wait any longer.. This process is way tooooo long.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.
