THIS HONESTLY MAKES ME WANT TO CRY. I JUST SENT AN E-REQUEST SO I AM GOING TO CALL BACK TOMMOROW AND REQUEST TO SPEAK TO A TIER TWO REP. WISH ME LUCK

THIS IS JUST SO FRUSTRATING I HAVE BEEN LIVING WITH MY HUSBAND IN MEXICO AND WE HAVE A 4 YEAR OLD SON. ALL THAT I WANT IS TO MOVE BACK HOME AND KEEP MY FAMILY TOGETHER.

It's tough but you'll get there. My husband and I have been living in two different countries for over a year and I think many on these forums are going through the same.

keep your hopes high and do what you can, you'll get there in the end :)

Hi all,

I called the NVC yesterday and finally received my case number and invoice number so I went online and filled out the DS-261 and submitted it. I did not receive a welcome letter or anything, should I have waited for those instructions or was it Ok to fill it out and submit?

Cheers!

If you can fill it out, pay for it, take an action, do it. :)

Awesome. I figured, thanks!

Also, how soon after the DS-261 is filled out should I get the AOS fee? They said up to 3 weeks or so, but wondering if it's actually sooner.

The new processing times for Nebraska are out. As of May 31st, Nov 15th applications were worked upon. The VJ timeline just keeps getting extended and extended.

There are two dates on the USCIS processing times page.  The one at the top, May 31st, is invalid.  If you scroll down towards the end of the page, you see the date updated is July 12th.  So as of today, NSC has/is processing applications from Nov 15th.

AJLove that's not how it's read. USCIS publishes data around the 15th of every month providing details on the applications that it was last processing and there is a buffer of 45 days to validate the data and then publish it. The bottom date says the date the page was last updated.

I agree with you and in the current there would be a decision made on your application but unfortunately that's not how it works. Stay patient and yes it's very frustrating. God Bless!

Once again, do not relay on it,you will lose your mind lol
