Sent my I-130 in around November 16th and got an email saying our case has been accepted and routed to Nebraska. Should get the NOA1 in the mail soon. Fingers crossed for a smooth process

Is there any reason that Nebraska is so much slower than the other 2? Purely due to volume?

I just filed my I-130 on November 2nd and it went to Nebraska so I'm assuming I'm a ways from being approved.. my question is on the USCIS website it's says " Field Office Processing Dates for Nebraska Service Center as of: September 30, 2016" but underneath it's says they are processing May 2nd.

So from what I am understanding is that the USCIS WAS processing the May 2nd visas on September 30.

Is that correct??

Thats was updated in November. Before the 2nd half of Nov it read "as of August." So its pretty confusing. On average its 5 months.

Recieved the Notice of Action in the post yesterday, which I know doesn't mean much, it's just saying they got it in Nebraska BUT it makes it feel real getting post from USCIS!

It looks like some ppl who filed in June are being accepted from the Nebraska service center.. so that's around 6 months ago.. Hopefully we will be accepted around May or June! Realistically speaking.
