Feeling super bummed today! We mailed our i-130 on Tuesday the 22nd from st Louis to the Chicago lockbox and it still has not been delivered! We chose priority shipping.

Hopefully it will be delivered soon and will get NOA1 sometime next week!

We got our NOA1 thru email today. We've been sent to Nebraska where the current processing time is 7 months!!!!

Yeah, i think 5 months is still current. They're still processing June filers.. and some cases might got stuck in the process. 7 Months would be horrible..lol

The USCIS website says Nebraska is processing papers received as of May 2, 2016. Of course, I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

when did you file your i130? what center?

arrived with tourist Visa 3/1986, grandmother submitted unmarried daughter petition for my mom.

left to Peru for consulate appt 9/1988 DENIED at Interview :( bc consulate believe my mom was married :(

EWI 3/1990

VD 2/2000, parent's asylum case denied given Volunteer Departure.

Our case has been at Nebraska for one month now. I checked this morning and no changes. The wait goes on!

It seems like the USCIS website isn't up to date cause it says Processing Dates as of September 30th 2016. And regarding to VJ Timelines they are people who filed in June and got approved. So i wouldn't count on the USCIS website. 5 Months is normal processing time. If it goes faster than that you are just lucky!

What USCIS website shows is absolutely correct as they release data on the 15th of every month. This can be found on Wikipedia too and below is the link.
