I HAVE READ THAT K-3 VISA IS OBSOLETE. THEY SHOULD TELL PEOPLE THAT, SO PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE EXTRA MONEY THINKING THAT THE PROCESS WILL BE FASTER WHEN IN FACT IS THE SAME TIME AS A REGULAR I-130.

That's y they removed the fee for it.  There is no extra fee for the k 3 visa

Well by Monday it will be 242 days! I don't know who plays with people's lives this way.

We are on 234day today and I started wondering from we were around 188days or so lol....but oh well, you can't do nothing but wait..stressing will bring you nothing but will affect your health,so just relax as much as you can..this is just beginning of the process and also the longest period we all need to wait..after this it will be easier I guess....just don't lose faith 🙂

My husband also filed both I130 and I 129F, but I don't think that helped at all.

My husband also filed both but I heard that they approve both the same day or approve i130 first so in both cases i129f doesn't mean anything....I don't know...Hubby wanted to apply for both anyways, he was like it doesn't hurt,I will file both, you never know....but by that USCIS processing time page, it seems like they keep accepting both of this forms in the same day...we will see anyways

The only benefit of the K3 application (in some cases, not all) is that when they get to NVC, K3 get a case # quicker than the I-130. Just like K1, K3 gets a case number in about 5 to 7 days.

In some cases, NVC assigns a case # to both the K3 and I-130 at teh same time. I've seen that several times here, but it is not that frequent. So, who knows? it could help after all

Just got email NOA today (7days after USCIS got our i1130 packet) and found out we were transfered to Nebraska. I was hopping we wouldnt get Nebraska, and would get California instead, since they autoexpedit USC who live abroad with their spouse.

How did you find that you were transferred? Did you get your NOA2

What is your view of the show?

It's like a car accident i can't stop looking at. I feel they don't portray the process as it really is.They make it seem as though people just have 90 days to decide to get married. Some couples i like, some like Moh and Danielle had their 15 minutes of fame and need to go away!

I think some of them just used them to get a green card. Don't understand why they would make a show like this. When you have people that are really in love get denied.

It's comforting knowing I'm not going through this wait alone. We can do this! 🙏

They say when you file a i130 you can also filed i129 so they can come while the i130 is being processed. I called you check on the i129. They said it takes almost as long as the i130. Just don't understand it....

We also filed both thinking the same. I also thought Texas would handle the I129F. All they did was forward the I129F to Nebraska. I imagine they just tucked it away in the same waiting cabinet as out I130. The website is misleading because it gives you the impression if you file the I129F it gives you the option alleviate the stress and allow you to wait together. Which if it did what it promised the wait would be so much easier.
