How is everyone doing? Anymore November approvals?? I called NVC but they didn't have our case yet :(

When I sent the I-130 I front loaded. Since I filed the I-130 I've made 2 visits to see my husband so I'm going to sideload  that evidence to NVC. Cant hurt :)

Still waiting. Nov. 28 PD. Going crazy coming here and checking USCIS apps too many times every single day.

I feel your pain Ella :( I was obsessed checking also. Fwiw, the timeline VJ gave for our approval was one day earlier then their estimate.

Thanks, Mary Lou. I really hope to hear some news soon, hopefully before we leave for our vacation as we won't have access to our mailbox for a month and a half.

@Mary Lou may I ask how it went making a visit while in process. I live with my husband in Macedonia and he recently got a visa so we could go meet the folks and help my mom (she has MS) for a few months. Everyone keeps being so negative about the chances of being allowed in. May I ask your experiences please.

Also what do you mean by frontload and side load documents...

Thanks so much

You're welcome Ella. How soon do you leave on vacation? I saw that we were approved on USCIS website. I didn't get a text or email even though I had signed up for them. Approximately a week later I got the NOA2 hard copy.

K&D,

My situation is a bit different then yours. I am the USC, living in the states. I had no issues at all going to my husband's country, nor returning to the USA. Front loading is when you include more evidence of your relationship then what USCIS requires on the I-130, for example I included boarding passes, passport stamps, any receipts from my husband's country. Such as ATM, tours, hotels, also sent 50 pictures.

Side loading is for NVC, since I've made 2 visits since petitioning, I will include my passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts ECT. Just a bit more evidence to go with what I've already submitted.

What visa was your husband approved for? Visitor Visa?

@Mary Lou he was just approved for a 10yr visitor visa, apparently the consulate didn't hesitate even though he knew we had a pending I-130....

Ok I think I front loaded our application too, hahahahhaha

Leaving next week!  We're treating this long wait for immigration approval as our chance to meet up in different places. We are fortunate that we get to see each other every two and a half months but it's getting too costly :-)

Oh ok, I am not sure if your husband will have any issues entering the country, hopefully not seeing they approved him for the visitor Visa. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly!! What is your PD for your I-130?

@Mary Lou thanks for the encouragement, we are hoping especially since we have a specific reason, helping my mom, we won't have an issue. My PD is 16 Dec, so still 1.5 - 2mths of waiting for NVC.....

Good luck with yours

Hello Mary, may I ask what is the process to sideload evidence to USCIS. I am still awaiting a decision on our I-130

Hi Sam

Side loading you do after your I130 is approved and you move onto NVC. All it is, is sending additional evidence to add to your case. Like I visited my husband twice after I filed the I -130, so I will include passport stamps, boarding passes, receipts from those trips.
