Just keeping positive. One day at a time. There's also an issue of the school calendar where the start of classes here is in June. Guess I still need to enroll the kid and see what happens. I just wish we would know earlier about our approval so we can make a better decision about school.

Yesterday was the 6 month mark waiting. PD Nov 1. I hope May is the month!

Decided to finally register on these boards after watching September, October and November filer forums for several months now.

PD: 11/14.

 

Looks like things are moving a long for October. Some folks for mid October just got approved today, so keeping the faith that November will come around in the next couple of weeks.

I hope they will start on November petitions soon. My patience starts to run out after almost 6 months of waiting. I know i am not the only one waiting this long..but aaarrrghhhh..

I agree, patience is wearing thin. The fluctuating dates of current processing times at NSC is not making the wait any easier.(Nov, 2016)

My guess is that we'll start seeing November cases approved by the week of May 22nd. Fingers crossed.

approval date +7days = USCIS mails your document to NVC

within  7 days = NVC receives the file

+ another 3-4 days = NVC assigns a Case/IIN #

I received my NOA1 November 2nd and I'm at the Nebraska center.. I'm hoping I'll get an approval anywhere from May 19th to May 30th... I'll let y'all know as soon as I hear anything!

Ended up with 199 days to May 5 APPROVAL! Received NOA1 Oct 18, 2016. So no RFE... or can an RFE still follow? Anyone?

Yes, terrible to wait such a long time. We filed October 12, 2016 and were processed in Nebraska SC. So don't belong here :-) But now I'm happy to say we received NOA2  by email, APPROVED , dated May 5, 2017. After 199 days! To give you all what you need: Your NOA2 may come soon also from now. Success for all waiting.
