This is just an expedite on a service request, not to have your case expidited, seems your lawyer would do better than this, I did this and in four days I got  an email stating it was on an officers desk and at his desrection would be expidited, within one week I got it approval, only an expidited to have someone to look at your case

Yhwinnie’s Case is at her local office so doesn’t that mean that it’s no longer in Nebraska?? Once it says your case was sent to your local office what exactly does that mean??

It means my case is under that officer who interview me and my husband in order to approve my I-130........ but it has been almost 90 days.. Friday is 90 days for that officer to make a decision and apparently he has not made up his mind yet and he needs 90+ days to do that.... ugh.

Yes expidited just the service request, and you and your husband were interviewed at your local office?

The only benefit of the K3 application (in some cases, not all) is that when they get to NVC, K3 get a case # quicker than the I-130. Just like K1, K3 gets a case number in about 5 to 7 days.

In some cases, NVC assigns a case # to both the K3 and I-130 at teh same time. I've seen that several times here, but it is not that frequent. So, who knows? it could help after all

When is your NOA1 date and which is your service center...

Hello anyone of California service centrr

my pd is November 14 ,2016 and m still waiting for approval??? Any updates guys

Wow, still waiting? I thought Nebraska was slow because most of us in this thread were with NSC and most of all Nov filers I believe have been approved by now or received REF and getting what was asked for returned..

You need to call Uscis and speak to a tier 2.. Ask to speak with a tier 2..

I wish you luck

Mine is in my local office which is in California. I am still waiting toooooo. Nov 7th, 2016. I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2. Nothing helps. If you have already contacted them and submitted a service request, I suggest you seek help from obudsman now. By the way, why is yours in California service center?

I finally passed the three-month waiting period after the I-130 interview on Dec 22, 2017. I then submitted an inquiry on 12/27/2017. They responded today with "We are still reviewing your case and your address has been updated. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision." and that's it. Seriously............
