20-days to the 1 year mark. No updates at all.

Service request response says to allow 60 days. No reason for delay was given

@robinanis That is unbelievable. So the adjudicating officer has discretion as to whether they grant an expedite? Nebraska is what I suspected. That office just ignores everybody around them (USCIS, Tier 2 Supervisors, politicians) and does their own thing. They have absolutely no respect for this process or go in the order applications are received. The good news is it sounds like your case will get adjudicated. When is a whole other question.

acidrain yes the adjucating officer decides rather your expedited request is worthy or not. Truly unbelievable as it sounds, it is the case. Never did I dream any process such as this would be so bad. Guess I should have stayed just the girlfriend and filed as such then my boyfriend could be here now. System really is backwards.

Its like we are punished for being married and not committing sin 😣

I was curious about robinanis because my spouse was able to get a service request for expedite put through Tier 2. My spouse asked for an expedite as my son's petition was approved on Oct 21 and mine is still sitting around 19 days later. He said it's going to cost over $2,000 just for flights for us to go to the Montreal consulate once. Are we going to have to go through this twice? The supervisor was very nice and 100% understood the reasons why we need our files linked up. My son is 5 years old it's not like he can go to a consulate interview by himself. Why the hell would we go to two separate interviews when we sent the applications in the same package? So she put through a service request which I understand gets routed to Nebraska. Now that I see the response it sounds like Nebraska just does whatever they damn well please. Even when common sense should dictate who gets processed first. How long did it take to get a reply?

I just feel very down about the whole thing. I am at 276 days and I was hoping the entire process was going to take this amount of time. As someone else pointed out we have waited over 9 months with nothing to show for ourselves. I can't believe that nobody cares. I wrote to the heads at USCIS, Ombudsman, politicians and everyone just ignores everything I said. I thought once enough attention was brought to this systemic problem they would act to correct it. But I was wrong. I can only imagine how long it will take people who just got to Nebraska. When I first got my NOA1 it was taking 5-6 months. I can't believe people are waiting up to 10 months, sometimes over a year.

If there is anything I have learned about US immigration it is those who are in long term committed marriages get screwed. I am astounded how common my case is where people have been married over 10 years get to wait abroad while people who haven't figured out whether they are getting married get to live in the US. It's absolutely absurd. Especially when there are children involved. My son celebrates his 5th birthday next week and of course my husband won't be around to experience that. I know I am fortunate I have been able to visit every 7 weeks so far. If I didn't have that I would have lost my mind.

I am not really sure what to say or do anymore that has not already been done. The whole situation sucks.

When did you request expedite? I’m trying to compare with you on your request because I requested expedite on Oct 10 and on Nov 6 they sent me the exact email they sent you. What’s funny is on Oct 19 they sent me a message saying my case to expedite was assigned to a officer then and now says assigned Nov 6. I really hate these games they play with my emotions.

Yes and I to sent emails to Uscis heads and Osbudsman and everyone I could think of and was ignored by all. Here all these years I was under the impression that everyone had a boss to answer to but I see Nebraska does as they d... well please and all I do is shake my head in disbelief.

Married couples really get screwed over and yes the undecided get rewarded.

System sucks
