My husband is also very stressed.. He has depression and this whole process makes it worse! Making the burden so much heavier on me.

Yes this process makes it very stressful on all couples. It's very unhealthy and even makes your hair fall out from stress. Oh God, no one needs to suffer like this. My blood pressure is thru the roof and I know my anxiety level is beyond the sky. I keep saying please God be today that we are approved so I can move on to the next stage..

We hqve to make it

Finally Both I-130 petitions got approved on 11OCT17. Priority date 07NOV16, received the letters today, no update on the website.

Congrats! My PD is also 07NOV16. I am wondering did you have to do an interview? Was is a standalone I-130? or with I-485?

Standalone I-130

Hi, I had standalone I-130 too. Did you have an interview? If yes, how long after interview did you get a response? Sorry for asking too many questions. I really want to know because I am on the same path as you and I still have not received a response after the interview and have been waiting for a few weeks already. I'm very worried and stressed.

Hi Guys, i just received this update on my I-129F petition, doe this mean my I-130 has been approved?? there has been no status updates on the I-130 online....confused. I wonder if this I-129F application caused this massive wait! So not fair :(  335 days since last status change today.

I would suggest you call USCIS and speak to TIER 2 representative today about what it means, but since it says benefit received by other means, I think your I-130 is approved.

I contacted USCIS again. The first call is with a non-tier 2 representative. He was telling me that my case is at the Nebraska Center but then I told him I actually had an interview, is it sent back to the Nebraska Center. He told me yes blah blah.. a bunch of lies. and I asked him if I can talk to a Tier-2 Representative. Tier-2 Representative called me back in 3 hours. He told me my case is at National Benefit Center, but I then told him that I actually had an interview a few weeks ago, so what does it mean for my case to be at the National Benefit Center? He then told me oh let me check in another system. He checked that my case is still in my local office..... no decision has been made yet...and he said that usually they will see it when a decision has been made but apparently no decision yet. :( Three weeks after my interview already......... why torture me like this? Make a decision already!!!!!!

Its a cruel process huh. I just tried to call and it cut out 3 times and then i finally get a hold of them and they say they cannot provide any information to me as I am the applicant, not the petitioner. Waiting for my husband to call  I hope you get good news soon!

I doubt I'll get anything soon.. Well... I think I'll be the last man standing :( Congrats to you though. I am 90% sure that it means your case is approved because otherwise how are you receiving benefit by other means.

Don’t trust them, I call on 13OCT17, they told me they case wasn’t even assigned to an officer yet.  The letter I received today was approved on the 11OCT17.

I really hope they are lying to me and that my case is already approved and a mail is sent to me and it's just because I am not home yet to check my mail box :(
