I have a new theory on the delay here:

I believe that all of us who filed I-129F for K3 with the I-130 are bound by the I-129F timeline.

My I-129F is dated 18-Jan.

So I believe we are not getting approved for another month at least

One person that I know who filed 1-129 in Dec 2016 just got notification from uscis that her 1-129 case was closed, so they should be working on her 1-130 petition that was filed In Nov.    Who know this crazy Nebraska system. It's all over the place with No constitancy, no straight answers, no compassion, no nothing.. Bunch of bs If u ask me

Ok

I received a RFE today. Have know idea what more should I send in.

So unhappy now..

See this is what I really hate about them. Like if you are going to send us RFE why don't you send this freaking mail faster so we can hurry up and send you evidence? Geeeeez!!!! Now you have to send evidence in and wait for a month or two again.

Here are some evidences I brought to my interview, it may help you:

1. Gift receipts that you guys give each other. Gift receipts from friends for your wedding

2. Phone bill records showing that you guys call each other a lot

3. Congratulatory cards from friends for your wedding

4. Petitioner's insurance putting you as dependent.

5. Petitioner's life insurance showing you as the beneficiary if anything happens to the petitioner

6. 401K showing you are the beneficiary

7. Petitioner's pay-stubs (the latest ones) showing "married"

8. Air plane tickets visiting each other

9. Tons of pictures together (especially those with your/his family members). During important events too like graduation, Independence Day etc.

10. Some people show social media screenshots (like relationship status) and chat screens. (I did not do this because I think it's a little bit too much into our privacy)

Hope the list helps and good luck!!

My husband was finally able to talk to a LIVE USCIS representative a few minutes ago to follow up our petition which is past the normal processing time.  However, he cannot put in a service inquiry as he has sought the help of his congressman prior, and the congressman's office put in an inquiry last Sept. 18.  USCIS has until Oct. 3 to respond to the congressman's inquiry.  My husband was told that he can make another service inquiry on Oct. 19 but I really do hope he won't have to by that time.

So Oct. 3 has passed and USCIS has not sent a response to the congressman's inquiry.  Somehow I am not surprised.

I actually put in a a separate online inquiry and the USCIS response is they will get back to me by Oct. 10. That's just a few days from now so I will wait.

Nov. 28 PD here, almost one year waiting. I try my best not to think about the wait anymore and try to focus my attention on other things.  It helps that we see each other often as we travel a lot, but I can't imagine the pain of those who are not able to travel due to economic, visa or time reasons.  I pray that the 2016 cases be completed the soonest possible time, especially us November filers and those who filed ahead of us.

I pray that you get an approval when they do relpy. Today I received a email RFE today not happy about it. After waiting almost a whole year. This is process is discouraging.

Thank you.

It's truly said to get an RFE almost one year after submission. More weeks/months added to the process. And to think that during the one year wait, a lot of things have already happened to the marriage, more proof that it is legit.
