If you have no red flags i think lawyers are a waste of money, Hundreds or thousands of dollars for filling/mailing out forms, no thanks.

Most of VJ users are DIY.

My wife lived in the US illegally for 15 years. But she was under 18 the whole time soo hopefully that isnt a red flag.

It's great to see lots of approvals for November 2016 filers. Gives me hope that we would get ours soon. Keeping the faith and at the same time praying for couples coming from countries affected by the immigration ban.

Have a wonderful weekend!

We filed on our own. Almost hired Rapid Visa too but hubby said he got it and was very thorough with the application requirements and the documentation. So far, so good. No RFEs yet. Eagerly awaiting the approval.

Congratulations, senlun81 and Maagiclady!

I am praying we get an approval soon, specially seeing those who got their NOA1s after ours (Nov 28), get approved.  It's hard to be separated from your loved one, and costly too if you try to meet regularly outside of the US!  Please, get me approved this week :-)

Most do it themselves as it is an easy process with a few forms.

You won the lottery with Nebraska ..... so you can play your Filipino Trump card .... time taken is 1.5-4mths for those from the Philippines.

The rest of those applying from other countries - 5-7 months no matter if married 1 year or 10+  IF you get Nebraska :bonk:
