No, VWP is not getting suspended. Only several European countries are able to use that.

There will be no visa issuance in Iran for a little while as well for Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries. She might be either in AP for a while or interview can be canceled until the issue again.

No executive order (so far) that restricts immigration of Iranian nationals.

Today's two EOs were about the wall and boosting CBP|ICE personnel.

That's what I thought; nothing signed today.

From New York Times, updated 1 hour ago

"Donald J. Trump is expected to issue as early as Thursday outlines his plans to indefinitely block Syrian refugees from entering the United States and institute a temporary halt on all refugees from the rest of the world."

"The order would require tougher vetting of foreigners fleeing persecution and place a monthlong ban on allowing any person into the United States from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen. Refugee admissions would be halted for 120 days while a review of screening procedures is completed. When it resumes, the program would be far smaller, with the total number of refugees resettled in the United States this year more than halved, to 50,000 from 110,000."

Wow wow wow...the mayor of New York isn't mincing words with Trump:

Mayor Bill de Blasio slammed President Donald Trump on Wednesday following an executive order he signed that cut federal grant money to "sanctuary" states and cities that often refuse to cooperate with federal authorities on actions against illegal immigrants.

The executive order "runs contrary to the character and values of this city, and I would argue is contrary to the character and values of this country," de Blasio said during a news conference.

Sounds like something along the lines of (former AZ) Sheriff Arpaio unwilling to follow Obama admin rules..?

Indeed.  He's basically calling for people to not support this and feels it's unamerican

Freedom of speech. The back and forth has begin sooner than I thought.  Sounds very much like Cuomo positioning for a 2020 WH run.

Perhaps.  But I think that the biggest point I'm taking is that NYC is not afraid of losing almost $7billion in funding
