I would believe that if he and his wife had acknowledged and admitted that she broke immigration law. They haven't. If everyone strictly followed US immigration law, she would have her citizenship revoked if the US goverment bothered to investigate her case. Luckily they don't seem to have much interest in that. And yes, it would be awful if she had it revoked. Nobody deserves that! US immigration law desperately needs reform but not the ludicrous reform that Trump has in mind. Melania Trump's immigration history wouldn't bother me in the least, if Trump wasn't so adamant about cracking down on immigration. What this shows me is the exact opposite of what you claim. It shows me that he has a worrying lack of understanding of the US immigration process AND that he's a hypocrite.

My understanding is that she worked for a few weeks when she was not authorized to do so. She already made right by becoming a citizen. You can't go back in time and punish someone for a past visa violation after they've already been approved for a proper visa and status.

Trump has the right idea... and I wish that the fear mongering surrounding him would stop. Look up some criminal statistics. Most "hate crimes" are committed in pro-democrat zones. 24% of hate crimes are committed by blacks and they only make up 12% of the US population. This whole evil white man BS has got to stop. And most of the recent reported hate crimes against minorities have been proven to be false accusations/hoaxes. Why do the democrats need to make things up if these hate crimes by whites are so rampant? That's not to say there aren't racist white people... but it's not nearly as bad as the media tries to make it out to be... and it's also not something that Trump is in any way endorsing. He has already asked for the hate crimes to stop, but the media conveniently cut that part out of his interview. What has Obama done other than encouraging more riots?

I'm all for fair rights for everybody. But we've gone past the point of equal rights, to forcing every bodies lifestyle/religion in our faces. I'm glad that Trump is there now to put his foot down and restore some balance. Enough is enough. There are more important issues on the table. Like illegal immigration. I for one am thrilled that finally somebody is willing to tackle the issue head on! Things have been out of control for far too long, that people have just become accustomed to it. Time for a change.

The USCIS have the right to revoke naturalization if there is any indication of fraudulent behavior, concealment of material facts or willful misrepresentation during the naturalization process (like engaging in/omitting criminal activity, procuring citizenship through a sham marriage, etc).

Trump has the right idea... and I wish that the fear mongering surrounding him would stop. Look up some criminal statistics. Most "hate crimes" are committed in pro-democrat zones. 24% of hate crimes are committed by blacks and they only make up 12% of the US population.

I actually made the effort to look it up, like you said. I couldn't find any statistics that matched exactly what you wrote. This is what the FBI 2015 Hate Crime Statistics report says: "Of the 5,493 known offenders, 48.4 percent were white, 24.3 percent were black or African-American, and race was unknown for 16.2 percent of the offenders. The rest were of various other races."

I couldn't find any unbiased information on the geographical location of these crimes. Honestly, I don't understand why it matters if any of these crimes happened in "pro-democrat", "republican" or "pastafarian" zones. Just because the majority in a county vote "blue" doesn't mean everyone living there is a "pro-democratic criminal". Correlation can indicate causation but it doesn't imply it.

I don't know if most hate crimes are hoaxes even if, for example, Breitbart want me to believe that. To be perfectly honest with you, I wish I could believe it but I and everyone else have a moral obligation to be critical of such claims first. Fact is we won't truly know about actual hate crime statistics until the FBI publish their 2016 report next year. Any indication of a hate crime, however, should be taken seriously, regardless of who potentially committed the crime. History should have taught everyone that but it does have an annoying tendency to repeat itself, as cliché-ridden as it sounds.

I saw the 60 Minutes interview and he did ask people to stop committing hate crimes. But why conduct dirty, divisive politics in the first place if you care so much about hate crimes? The Brexit referendum should have been a first, bitter taste of divisive politics. Trump has said a lot of things but has yet to act on any of them. How is Obama encouraging more riots? And since you used "more" riots, what riots are you specifically referring to?

I'm all for fair rights for everybody. But we've gone past the point of equal rights, to forcing every bodies lifestyle/religion in our faces. I'm glad that Trump is there now to put his foot down and restore some balance. Enough is enough. There are more important issues on the table. Like illegal immigration. Whose lifestyles/religion are you forced to adopt?

I would personally love to see Trump speak about the Muslims or immigrants here without going back into terrorist or wall building talk in the same speech so it can marinate in folks minds a little (possibly it has been done and I have not seen it yet).

Point us to where Trump has prohibited you from abandoning your family? Last I checked, Obama is still the president for another 2 months.

I have been saying this for a week now in the mega thread he's not in office.

and even when he does get in there is procedure.

All I have to add is people love to blame everything wrong on someone else.

Judging by your previous threads...

This country has a sure effect to get people to complain when complain isn't even merited. (YOU decided not to move here last year)
