I am even more disappointed in her (though it doesn't surprise me) that she walked out on her supporters early last night, and then refused to give her concession speech at the right time (heard it took her an hour to call Trump to concede over the phone).

But I also think this loss has hit her harder than perhaps some others? I think she felt she had it in the bag, as did many. It cannot be easy to lose such a big race, for anyone. And to be able to get up in front of the world and give a speech with dignity... That can take a bit of time, I suspect. Also, knowing how she treated her SS agents and those around her when she was not in a good mood, I doubt she COULD have given a decent speech last night.

The FBI said the new emails didn't add anything to the investigation.

The only way she would end up in prison at this point is if Trump decided to go after her. Yes he threatened to do that, but based on his acceptance speech he at least seems to be wanting to move forward beyond the election process. I imagine there will be several "promises" or "campaign points" that were made that he won't follow-up on. At least so far he seems (or the people behind him) to recognize the difference between running for the office, and actually preparing to run the office.

We can agree to disagree then. I feel quite confident that it all died with the election. For better or worse (depending on the person's opinion of her), she is going to fade away a bit. She won't have the drive to try again in 4 years, but no one is going to beat the dead horse. (I'm trying to talk about this without letting partisan politics influence things, which I realize is very hard given the circumstances)

Trumps' due in court later this month on fraud charges related to Trump university. There's also the NY state investigation into his charity and some of his advisers ties to Russia. The executive suite at the Federal Corrections Institute could get crowded pretty quickly.

He can't yet. Even Bill Clinton didn't pardon himself so it would be a new low for a president. It would likely end up before the supreme court since to date, no president has ever tried to pardon themselves.
