thanks dnc! you earned this!

I'm not sure how many Sanders supporters switched to Trump over what happened but my wife was one of them. I don't think she had anything against Hillary in particular but the whole way it went down just pushed her over the edge. My guess is more likely, a large number of Bernie supporters just stayed home. The lesson for the liberal elite is, or should be, that most of us aren't part of the elite. Assuming everyone would just fall in line was a big mistake that very likely cost them the election.

The Republicans, after 8 years of Obama, I think just wanted to win at any cost. The whole "we can't condone Trump but, go Trump!!" line had a surreal quality that just never went away. Eight years ago, Republicans derided Obama's lack of executive experience. Today that somehow is a good thing. Anyone familiar with German folklore may come to appreciate the Faustian quality of all this. Although if Trump follows through with some of his policy ideas, I'm not sure many of his supporters will be in a position to do that.

We'll see in four years how that party is going.

All you need to do is review Reagans presidency. This is history all over again, a weak and very ineffective president who has made the USA loose it power in the world and then in comes in a new president and Makes America Great Again. Obama will be looked back on in history the same way Jimmy Carter is seen.

Obama is just mouse, Trump is a Man. Trump is just walking in Reagan shoes and I can only see great things on the future for America .

God Bless President Elect Trump

That sums it up quite well. I voted for Bernie and was ticked off at how the dnc handled the primary, and Hillary's e-mail fiasco also ticked me off, but I still couldn't vote for Trump with any clear conscience.

Even with a republican house and senate, I don't see much of the drivel Trump has promised coming to fruition. The one thing that may happen with republican control and a vacant Supreme Court seat is planned parenthood taking even more of a hit nationwide than it already has. The other promises of building the wall and banning Muslims will more than likely not ever happen.

i don't know any sanders supporters that went trump. i do know LOTS of bernie supporters who wrote bernie in. i hope the dnc learns from this but, i doubt it.

also, the part in bold..racism is alive and well. some whites want to chuckle that off and sweep it up under the rug.

maybe one of these days we'll start funding public education sufficiently (including higher education) but until that happens, expect the south and the good ol boys to set progress back and squeeze it to a standstill in reverse, every.single.time.

I dont understand all the drama. My life would not have ended if Crooked Hillary had won . I got the same feeling I get when Georgia is the underdog and beats Florida
