Trump and the men surrounding him deal in a world of pseudo realities. This is an old trick employed by certain charlatan televangelists (that are close to his heart) to make people believe without seeing true reality, to think or know for themselves, to investigate and learn and reason. The idea if you repeat something enough and say you believe it, it surely must be truth. Your opinion becomes your truth, because your opinion is your reality but not actually factual reality. Some of the best dictators also employ similar tactics, it's called unreality. I can think of one such individual who has used it for years, and has carefully developed it using psychologists shape it and spread it among the populace. Therefore the subject never knows if the reality they are hoping is true and going on before them is reality, or simply a fabrication. These days people believe what they want to see, and refuse to acknowledge reality. You might accuse Val of this, and Val might accuse you of this. And whom might be right, what does the reality of truth say?

Can you make an assertion that the vast majority of democrats believed she did no wrong without statistical evidence to back up that claim? From overwhelmingly that I've seen democrats and republicans were holding their noses in spite of her issues to vote for her. Because she may have done wrong, but they did not believe that she was literally damaging to the very fabric and soul of this nation. That's not an acknowledgement that she did no wrong by any means. But we've been down this road before - Clinton at this point may as well be lumped in with every single major conspiracy theory since her birth, evangelicals can dredge back into the early 90s thinking that she was straight out of the Book of Revelation, and linked to every single murder on the face of the earth before people will ever examine the facts rationally. What happened in Benghazi was a tragedy, but how many times have we been in these horrific situations, with at least every single administration I can think of? Who was held accountable in any of those times if at all? As for the emails, we can all certainly say that no person should be doing that, but it has been investigated by the FBI and they have had their say. That's reality. You want her to be held accountable, sure. So do I, if there is an agency willing to hold her accountable. On 9/11 thousands of people died under Bush's watch. What followed was a war that had nothing to do with the murder of those persons and has upheaved the region into chaos for decades to come. It has caused the murder of our sons and daughters in war, and has destabilized the whole of Europe. It laid the groundwork for what followed in Benghazi. But I'd like to ask, when will all those from the Bush administration be held accountable for their actions? Does their ''false intel'' and ''oops mah bad'' give them a free pass? It seems so.

Some choose to believe what they want to, because they'd rather believe instead of educating themselves before making informed decisions as to what to believe. It's a lazy society these days. That's what's given rise to ignorance, disrespect, and hatred. As for if anyone can force it upon us? Don't be so sure. History certainly says otherwise.
