Thank you.

One person told me:

-1 for the passport

-1 for immigration document

-1 for dominican embassy

-1 for social security

-1 for marriage license

When would he need to use the English one?

The immigration document is only a copy you need one in English and Spanish. I thought you meant for the embassy only so that's my mistake, yes you will need one for passport and the embassy will keep a bc also. I'm not sure about ss# , and marriage license the bc must be in English

Any foreign document must be translated into English, and you send a copy, not the original when submitting his documents.

Thanks to you both.

English translation - where did you have it done? Thanks.

My husband had his bc, our marriage certificate and his divorce certificate in Santo Domingo, It was much cheaper then doing it here.

Forgive me, but i am not sure which visa you are applying for.

Thank you.

One person told me:

-1 for the passport (YES) He needed for this the long one apostiled and certified it was returned to him.

-1 for immigration document (No) I did not submit with i129F

-1 for dominican embassy (YES) he needed to turn in they did not return this one. I brought translation but the CO read Spanish.

-1 for social security (Yes) they looked at it with the translation but returned it

-1 for marriage license (YES) they will need an original at my state at least and the translation they take copy and return back

you will need one for AOS

When would he need to use the English one? English is needed for anything having to do with the USA government.

but you can probably get away with one original and most places look to verify its originality and return to you the original.
