Please has any one being in this situation before..??

I went to my interview last week and it was successful.

The CO gave me 3 papers and told me to expect and collect my visa within 10 business working days.

However, after 2days I got an email saying:

Dear...( ),

Subsequent to your visa interview at the US Consulate on (date), the interviewing officer who interviewed you has requested to see you again. Please return to the US Consulate on (date) by 7am. You should come with a copy of this email.

Please what could that entail and do we need to go there with more documents??

Secondly, my status online is showing "Necessary Administrtaive Processing.

Thank you.

After the interview, the CO gave me 3 white papers:

1. Address of where to collect my passport

2. Details on how to pay my Green card processing fees

3. Details of my rights in the US.

Then after 2days, I got the email.

It could be something simple like they forgot to have you sign a document, or pay a fee.

It could be that they need more documents on something/ forgot to ask you for a specific document though if that was the case, they'd likely just have asked you to mail it in.

It could be that during the final review/ when the supervisor looked at it, something "odd" came up; a discrepancy between what you said in the interview and the documents you showed, two different birthdays on two different documents etc.

Sadly, we r in the same boat. the visa status at ceca kept updates from the same day of interview 25th, 27th and 30th 2016 to 'READY' consecutively then on OCT 31st the creation date and status update both of them changed to OCT 31st then to 'ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING' and the status visa went from immigrant to nonimmigrant. Since then there is no update.
