Hi alls

I entered the US as K-1 visa and married my husband within 90 days. I have applied for I-485, AOS and had my husband fill out form I-864. I just got a RFE that really confuse me

1) form I864 was submitted; however page3 part 4 of the petitioner/sponsor's list on form I864 someone other than the petitioner/sponsor or page3 part4 is blank

Submit a completed and signed form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on form I-130 or form 129F.

2) form I864 was submitted from a joint sponsor, however, the names listed on page 1 and page 3 are not the same.

- Item 1 I had my husband name in both section 1 and page 3 part 4 and he also ticked box 1a. Did I do it right?

- Item 2 my husband is sole sponsor since his income is over 125%, so why they are saying that I use from a joint sponsor and what is that mean name on page 1 and page 3 are not same? Do they mention something in item 1 again.

Please note that during fill out the form I-864, my husband name in page 3, part 4 kept missing when print out. I had to come back in and add his name again. I had to do this 5 times finally his name showed on the form. Do you think the bar code at bottom of the page didn't show his name? as a result, I got RFE the error for item 1 and 2?

I have another question that is while submitting form I864, who should write cover letter? Does it matter is my husband writes a cover letter to state that he is sponsor my AOS application or I have to write the letter saying that my husband is my sponsor?

TIA

If you did not use a joint sponsor, then ignore that part. Be sure everything is still filled out, and with the correct names once you print the form. See this post/thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/590289-rfe-for-affidavit-of-support-help/?p=8082009
