I have my NOA stating that my application for EAD, AP, and AOS was received on Feb 16.... According to the processing times for St. Paul...they are processing petitions they received on Feb 16...Well, I have not even been notified to have my biometrics done yet. Is that unusual? Any steps I should be taking? I have a job waiting and they are wondering when to expect my availability. Thanks for any advice.

NOA received Feb 18, 2006

Biometrics done on Apr 21, at St. Paul office..wait some more......

Touched on April 24 and 28

email aproval for AP on May 1

email approval for EAD on May 3

received AP on May 3

received EAD in mail on May 8

start work of June 1

AOS interview in Bloomington on July 19 8am

AOS approved,passport stamped on July 19

as of Dec 10, 2006 still no greencard....waiting and waiting....USCIS says we are approved, and check back in 60 days...no idea what is happening

Dec 18, email stating welcome letter is in the mail

Dec 20, 5 emails saying they ordered production of my new card......

Dec 24...welcome to America letter in the snail mail

Dec 26...GC in hand and all is correct...

NOTE TO SELF..file to lift conditions 04/19/08

04/22/08 filed to lift conditions

05/01/08 package returned wrong form

05/05/08 re-submitted right form to california

05/09/08 cheque cashed

05/13/08 NOA

05/19/08 appointment letter for biometrics received..appointment on 05/28/08 at 11 am at USCIS St. Paul

05/28/08 took my two appointment letters and had my fingerprints done

11/13/08 touched and email stating card production ordered and will be sent to me in 30 days

11/21/08 GC in hand no mistakes expires 11/13/18

It can take up to 90 days to get your EAD.... so if you call now they will just tell you to call back after 90 days has passed....

If you get to 90 days and still have not heard anythng then you need to make an infopass appointment at your local office and apply for a interim EAD....

enjoy your time off while you can....

If you mailed your package to Chicago lockbox, your EAD and AP are being processed at MSC/NBC (Missouri Service Center). Check if your receipt number starts with MSC. You then need to check MSC timelines, not your local office.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

At least from our experience, Saint Paul takes it's sweet time in processing. We received our NOA1s at the end of November and didn't have a biometrics appointment until the beginning of March, on the 94th day after the NOA1.

Thankfully, the EAD was approved straight after that. I think my DH got his EAD on the 100th day after the NOA1, or there abouts.

There's not much you can do in the ways of bugging them until the 90 days are up. Sit tight, you're in for a wait.

How about all this snow eh? Thank God I live in an apartment and didn't have to shovel.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Just FYI, my NOA1 was 30th December, I had fingerprinting last Saturday and got my EAD approved yesterday... good luck

oh thanks you guys......yes I was thankful that I didn't have to drive the commute on those couple of days last week. but I would like to get to work.....so much shopping and so little $$$$$ :D I guess nothing to do but wait at this point...I know just when the weather gets nice...it'll happen, and I'll be whining about that :lol:

It takes time to get the letter.

We waited for over two months to get it.

Had NOA Dec 8, received Bio letter on Feb 3rd.

Bio done on Feb 22nd.

Its just a waiting game :yes:

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Yep, still plenty of December NOAs that dont have EADs and APs left. I dont think patience has ever really been one of my strong points ;)

AOS TIMELINE

16th December 2005 - Sent I-130, AOS, EAD & AP USPS overnight to Chicago Lockbox

18th December 2005 - Received at Chicago 9.18pm.

23rd December 2005 - NOAs for I-130, AOS, EAD, AP!! Didn't expect them that quickly

13th January 2006 - RFE for Medical and additional I-864 info

17th January 2006 - INFOPASS Apt about RFE.

23rd January 2006 - Appointment notice for Biometrics on 10th Feb.

10th February 2006 - Biometrics Appointment

21st February 2006 - Medical. Cost $250 including all blood tests, Td Shot, TB test and Titers for MMR and Varicella.

27th February 2006 - Appointment with immigration lawyer re. RFE for I-864.

1st March 2006 - Final results Medical. Papers in hand to send.

10th March 2006 - RFE responses to Lees Summit

13th March 2006 - RFE responses signed for at Lees Summit

24th March 2006 - Emergency AP approved in Omaha

28th March 2006- Collected AP

31st March 2006 - EAD Approval online

7th April 2006 - EAD arrived in mailbox.

21st April 2006- Received Interview Date for 22nd June

9th May 2006- Received SSN

22nd June 2006- AOS INTERVIEW APPROVED

REMOVING CONDITIONS

June 20 2008 - Package mailed to CSC under new rules. Would have been an NSC transfer

June 23 2008 - Package recieved at CSC

June 27 2008 - Recieve NOA1

July 16 2008 - Biometrics

July 17 2008 - Touched

September 9 2008 - Card production ordered
