oh man that was hilarious!!!!! reminds me of friends i have who went from the raver scene to the oh so cool and trendy emo scene now. wonder what trendy scene will be next?

I'm confused by the thing kids call Emo these days -- when I was a teenager a long time ago it meant you liked punk rock bands from Washington DC, didn't drink and were generally humorless. Now it seems to be a catch-all phrase to describe any number of bad bands and wearing tight jeans. The humorless part still remains.

Now it seems to be a catch-all phrase to describe any number of bad bands and wearing tight jeans. The humorless part still remains.

What kids call 'punk' is a joke today too. Green Day is punk? I think not.

btw, Johnny Rotten (who lives down the street from me!) is currently a property developer and owns like, half of Venice CA.

I guess even punk was a phase for him. :/
