Sydney Embassy - How long does it take to receive your K1 visa/passport after the interview?

My K1 interview is on the 29th of November, and I'm curious as to whether anyone can tell me how long it took to receive their passport/visa after their interview (recently).

My SO and I are hoping to be together before Christmas, which I'm sure i'll have my passport back before then, the issue is booking tickets.

Obviously the closer to Christmas you get, the more expensive tickets are and the less likely you are to find flights that aren't full.

Booking now would be ideal financially, but obviously not knowing when you'll get your visa back makes that difficult.

I'm hoping to fly around the 18th but I'm worried that would really be pushing it if we were to book in advance.

K1 and AOS/EAD/AP

27th July 2016 -- NOA1 Received

7th September 2016 -- NOA2 Received

27th September 2016 -- Sydney Consulate Received

6th October 2016 -- Packet 4 Received

29th November 2016 -- Interview Date

29th November 2016 -- Approved at interview

5th December 2016 -- Visa Package Received

16th December 2016 -- Entered US on K1 (PoE San Francisco)

23rd December 2016 -- Married!

8th March 2017 -- Filed AoS, EAD, AP

18th March 2017 -- NOA1 for AoS, EAD, AP

1st August 2017 - Email notification that GC has been mailed
18th August 2017 - Mailed GC back after name error (Maiden name instead of married name), USCIS error, filed with I-90 Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card

5th March 2021 - Case updated to notify that interview has been scheduled

30th September 2020 - Notice of received application (notice date)
5th March 2021 - Case updated to notify that interview has been scheduled

It took about 4 days. It was fast. Also Qantas is having a sale now! I would feel comfortable booking. My fiancé booked his ticket for the 16th of Nov before going to his interview which was on the 25th of October.
