Oh to be fair to someone's comment about "marry a filipina or filipino who is 25 years old or above" earlier. In the philippines, the age considered by law as the rightful age to marry is 25 years old. Before that, one needs parents' consent. It is so as there is no divorce in the Philippines. If we get married outside of our country, we are required to report our marriage to the Philippines embassy or consulate. Although i dont think age matters, emotional and mental maturity and readiness to commit to marraige is more important..... but those "usually" comes with age. :)

tallcoolone: And oh theres nothing with working in Walmart or any grocery store. Its a good decent paying job. I dont know about your wife finding any job she wants considering the economy right now.... not that i belittle your wife... i hope her the best as a fellow filipina. Its just that your claims are unfounded. She is under 25 years old. She isnt a lawyer or a doctor. Its likely that she finished college... prolly a 2 year masters degree (hmm?!). Im sure you do know that she has to go to an accreditation office in here to gauge her college credits on how much that diploma is worth in the US. But even so, she just lacks the years of necessary experience.

There is nothing wrong in those people who works at Walmart or those people whose salary is in minimum wage. I would rather be like them than those losers who gets high paying job and belittles other people. Edited by o0pink0o

If it is really true love, why do you care so much about her family assets and how much she's gonna make? Who's using who?

As far as work goes:

I sure as hell not gonna marry a girl who can only get a job at a Wal Mart or some grocery store with little to no education.

My wife can go to any city in USA and find a excellent paying job with great benefits within days with her education.......

OH..MY.... Gulay!!! Tallcoolone.... you really such a L****. I really feel bad with yout filipina wife now. I think she was trying to make friends with some filipina member here in VJ but noone wanna talk to her because of you lol. It is good for your wife that she can find a nice job but no need to discriminate people who's working in Wal Mart. And no offense to your wife again.... But maybe, Ok she's a registered nurse or whatever.... but it's not on her look being richy richy in philippines by the way she wear clothes and yeah like i said.... her look lol. Actually she more look like with those girl that work in the bar that you been posted here before... So, Please !!!! :D . You married a filipina take a little credit of it instead of making bad comment.. Or is it really too hard for you to be a nice and less talkative guy ? lol

i think tall mentioned his wife is a nurse. since she has only been here for 8 months probably only making starting wages of a nurse which are ok but not enough to make her rich. so u just have to ignore him as he like to get under peoples skin.

any way once she hears he plans on living off her one day she will be getting it on with some doctor she works with and he will be history.

If he was speaking about making more money than me, he is probably right, the U.S. military is the most underpaid system, local police offcers make more than we do, but hey its obvious I dont do it for the money, what is it that you do Mr. cool one? I like to get under peoples skin who have a big head, and quite frankly dont have anything to be big headed about.

:thumbs: even if you dont make enough money, I salute you for what you do for your country. nuff said.

Let me correct you some:

Age 18 - 21 needs Parental Consent, 22 to 24 needs Parental Advisement - If I remember correctly.

Being a Lawyer or Doctor and coming to USA doesn't do you much good in USA. You basically go back to sqaure 1 with those degrees in USA.

Accreditation Office - Are you trying say to get her College Transcripts Evaluated to see if her degree in PI is comparable to same degree in USA, if so That was taken care of when she was still in PI, I had it evaluted by CGNFS before she ever stepped foot on US Soil.

I agree there is nothing wrong with working Wal Mart or Grocery Store, But for me and my personal goals it doesn't fall into what I am looking for in a lifetime partner......

What if your wife came from a poor family and she is not a RN will you still marry her? I have no right to question your relationship with your wife but I really hope that you married her because you truly love her.

I havent asked for sympathy from anyone guy, you are just upset because people here threw up the BS flag, and obviously for good reason. I see your wife doesnt say much on here, probably cause she knows what a tool she married. It's ok guy, since it makes you feel so good, you can continue to hate on me and everyone else here because it makes you feel good. But in the end, everyone here will go on living their lives and you my friend will never have mattered to this world! That must hurt you!
