Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how their interview at the Islamabad Consulate went. I filed an I-129F and an I-130 on my husband's behalf, which both got approved and he is waiting to have his interview on May 15 2007  ? So what kind of experience did you have? When do they need the Medical exam- before the interview or on the day of the interview? Please share your experiences!!

Thanks!!

Hi,

well congrate and good luck for interview, My wife also had her 130 and 129 both approved and send to embassy so i chose 130 so she had her interview on March 6, 2007 and got her visa and she here in USA now alhamdullah, so for medical u need to do ur medical like 2 or 3 weeks before ur interview and u havetake with u at the time of interview so u do not have to send in prior to interview

Also I recomend that u attend ur husband interview that helps alot just like I did I took my wife with me to interview and she got her visa right away and it went very smooth and easy they just ask basic question should find those question in topic "calling everone going thru Islambad"

Thanks

Good luck with the interview,

My interview is also on 15th of May 2007.

If your husband is in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, you may tell him to contact me, then we can keep in touch and prepare for interview together.

Aftab!

Together we can find a way, or make one!

Thank you for replying! I've been reading those posts...but I guess I am still a bit nervous about the upcoming interview...don't really know what to tell my husband to expect... I will be there with him for his interview. Will they let me attend the interview with him?

I would really like to know how long one has to wait to obtain a visa once the interview is passed.

I hope my husband's interview goes as well as your wife's interview....I will also be there for the interview to support my husband :). His medical is on April 22nd...please pray for us!!

When you attended the interview, what did they ask her? Did they allow you to be with her in the room while she was interviewing? and what evidence of your marriage did you bring to them?

I have online phone card receipts, which they are probably going to disregard, some pictures, some e-mails....letters from people who know us both and who can attest to the marriage....and I don't know what else to bring.

Thanks again for your reply....

Salam,

Dont worry inshallah ur husband interview will be good well they just her basic dummy questions like: what ur husband do and where he works, how many people live with him, how many brother and sister he has and the names, how many people invited in wedding and how many attended and name of the place where wededing took place etc..

Just take ur wedding pictures, and video and as u mention phone cards, emails and etc....

No they will interview him alone they will make u sit and if they need to ask u anything then they will call u

hope this help and good luck
