Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me since this topic seems to be about one year old... Anyways so I'm also getting that message after checking my case status. I send my second package on dec 6 then received a biometric appointment for Jan 5. Today is May 31 and still haven't hear anything from immigration nor my case status has changed...  Can anyone that has completed the process tell me how long did it take to hear back from immigration after the biometric appointment, and if the online case status ever changed from "filing fees were waived" to something else...? Thank you!

Hi, I sent my stuff november 11.

Their online system is super delayed and wrong, don't go by it.

You have to wait, so do I, I guess they only approving applications of July 2016 so, then next month august 2016 applications and so on

Is taking 7 months to 11 months apparently

more like 9 months.

I-751 lifting conditions is taking 12 months or more. If you filed in December 2016, you should expect an approval December 2017 or even some time in early 2018.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

People, that is the standard message online on each case once USCIS accepts the application, nothing will change. Once they approved or denied your case then thats the time your case online will be changed. This is also the case when you applied for AOS, from application acceptance, interview notice and approval so dont get confused.

Thank you for replying, And so in other words being married to a BORN us citizen doesn't make any difference anymore? What will then happen to the one year extension letter, will they mail a new one?

Doesn't matter if your spouse is natural born US citizen or a naturalized US citizen. Just matters that they are a US citizen.

The 1 year extension letter extends the validity of the expiration date on your green card, example: My card expires on July 20, 2017. The letter extends that to expire on July 20, 2018.
If my I-751 has not been approved before 30 days prior to that date which would be June 20, 2018, then I need to make an infopass appointment at my local USCIS to have an  I-551 stamp placed into my passport.

Hello,  I would like to know if when you check your case status online still says

On 11/17/2016 at 8:14 PM, ozzys said:

I have the same case status. Filed for I-751, never filed any sort of waiver, fees are already cashed, biometrics done and my case status says:

"Fees Were Waived

On October 17, 2016, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number XXXX...."

If this is a glitch it's not just happening to you. Did you call the Customer Center? Wondering what they told you if you did.

Also my first EAC number on the biometrics notice does not work with the USCIS online case status but the second one does... I hope that's normal.

Hello, please let me know if when you check your case status online  it still says Fees were Waived

My priority day is October 31- 2016 , Biometric on December 4- 2016 ,since that time my cases status online  has not changed.                      Fees were Waived.  I never applied  for waiver .  ( Removing conditions for CR1-89)

Just checked. Mine still says the same thing "fees were waived" since October 2016! It's been 8 months and no change :/

Whether you get the "fees were waived" (which I suspect has to do with the fact that our I-751 form morphs into a CR-89 petition but there isn't an additional charge for that) or the "case was received," that status will stay exactly the same for about a year (or maybe more) at which point it will likely change to "card is being produced," which is how you'll know you've FINALLY been approved!

Is your timeline updated?

Well I have the same case  I summit the i-751 for the green card that last 10 years, or known as a removal of condition. anyway, this is what i see at the online case status check:

On October 24, 2016, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC170xxxxx. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by November 23, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

So this month i will have 11 month and still the same nothing is changing in the online status check, also my bio-metrics where done December 9.  for the record.
