Yes. We filed end of March and I sent my docs to NVC ist week of March

I called for update on the completion of moms case, they said 11 weeks  we still have another month to go!!!! recently I rechecked the i864 form that I filled out for her and noticed I screwed up on one of the pages, they haven't said anything about it but I'm freaking out that they will notice my screw up and come back with another incomplete request... So my question is has anyone ever resent a correction with that cover sheet without them requiring it??? I want It to get there before the 11 weeks is up for them to review once again? Should I do that or not?

I'm confused on what i864 form I should be sending for my second sponsor.. I sent in the ez form for my moms case and now I have am doing my dads but I'm not sure which one to do.. is there a difference?  Has anyone filled the form out recently and noticed the expiration date for it is 7/31/17 can I still use those forms?

Better send a new updated one and all the docs that you ever missed and attached the cover letter.

I think this is quite normal. I have seen few Vj'ers here who sent applications together but were approved separately. I don't think there's anything to worry about. Send all further documents together as well and hope they schedule the interview on the same day which I think they will because they were filed together. Any update on you dad's case yet?

Update we have been waiting for the Interview date in London.

Could not get through on the phone.

Finally reached them last night, the interview has been set for Sep 20th BUT they sent 2 emails to me & to husband NEITHER of us has got the email we have checked spam & everything?

Strange that 2 emails would not make it to 2 different email addresses.

Anyway my advice IF you are waiting for an interview date email CALL 

I will update if we receive the resent email interview today as promised by them as without the number I can not book medial.

Thanks gagan, yes my dad's case also is with NVC now. I paid mom's AOS  on Monday. How far are you with your cases ?

Do you know you have to pay AOS fee ($120) only once. It will cover both applications. I didn't know that until I was about to pay it. I am collecting all AOS & IV package documents. Everything is ready except one thing in AOS form. I am waiting for my tax guy to send me my tax papers because I need to know what amount he filled in line 22. I have to write the same amount in the AOS form. He said he will get back to me on Monday. Once he gives that, I will print the forms and mail them.

gagan, you should be able to access your tax transcripts yourself at irs.gov its realllllly easy and then you will also be able to save/print them yourself and attach as back for supporting evidence

I do have my tax transcripts but don't know how to find out what exact amount my tax guy filled in line 22 of my tax papers. Because I got W2 and 1099 for previous year and the tax transcript for that year tells separate amount, not combined. I know I can add both and fill in I-864 but I don't want to take any risk because a minor discrepancy in the amount can lead to some issues. What's your say on this?

Both of my parents' cases were approved on 5th July. USCIS sent the cases to NVC on 12th July and I received an email from NVC on 28th July that they are processing the cases now. So you should receive emails from NVC sometime around 15-20th Aug or even earlier if you are lucky. If you want to try your luck & call NVC, give it a shot. They may provide you the case number. I didn't do it, so can't say anything about that.

Hi gagan, did you fill out the DS 260 or did your parents fill it out? do they really need all the collages attended by my parents? My parents studied in different states of India . Since they are not living in India they are planning to get the PCC from the embassy. Hope that works.

i am still waiting for the NVC letter for my dad and IV invoice for my mom. Hope you have sorted out everything...

Hi All ! Anyone else's "IV Fee Payment Status" still stuck on "In Process"?? I paid the IV Fee back on August 7th, and today its August 23rd and am still waiting for it to show as PAID so I can get the parents to complete their DS-260's....

Hey Dassie, i posted a separate thread in the forum, but basically, i called NVC to find out whats going on, was told that if you had paid in the first 2 weeks of august, their system had some issues and you should email them proof of payment. i did on 08/23 and today i logged on, and it was showing PAID, so they fixed it manually within 24 hours of me sending an email about it. Perhaps reach out to them, as its been a week already. asknvc@state.gov is the email address. be sure to include all pertinent info.
