CEAC status changed from immigrant to nonimmigrant..

BUT, when I track my case on the nonimmigrant option, it says that there's no status? Should I be worried?

Generally speaking, a fiancee visa is NOT an immigrant visa. It is a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

Yeah, I know....but that is how it is.

The beneficiary is not being given the right to immigrate. They are being given a limited 90-day visitors-like visa to get married. Then you have to do an adjustment of status. That is why the classification got changed.

Without more info about your case, I can't say.

But it IS a non-immigrant visa, so that would make sense, no?

We are in the same boat. the visa status at ceca kept updates from the same day of interview 25th, 27th and 30th to 'READY' consecutively then on OCT 31st the creation date and update both of them changed to OCT 31st then to 'ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING' and the status visa went from immigrant to nonimmigrant. Since then there is no update.

It's still very soon.

My fiancee interview was 10.17 .she had her ISSUED on October 30th .and she still didn't receive her passport yet ..not even a moment that I or she worried about it.every consulate is diffrent but I'll assume yours will take about the same time.

Status ISSUED does not mean your passport is ready for a pick up it means they now start putting your file and envelope that you take with you to port of entry together and that takes few days .so once they get done with that file they send everything to the courier that deliver your passport at that point you get either a call or email saying your passport is ready for a pick up .
