UAE travel restrictions

Hi everyone,

While I'm waiting for my husband's interview to be scheduled, I have decided to visit him for a few days. I want to bring with me some homemade snacks he likes and oven dried beef.

I have searched online but I can't seem to find a useful or up to date link of what's allowed in checked in bag and not. It's usually vague. I don't want to upset these folks at the airport with banned stuffs, or possibly get fined.

Does anyone know if it's okay to bring the above items?
