Concern about my co-sponsor's income?

Hey guys,

I've been getting really worried about my husband's case since all the events that recently occurred. No one was able to give us a clear explanation as to why it stated he was approved and then it switched over to the RFE - we came to the conclusion it was probably a mistake on their end. However, we heard three different things from three different people at USCIS and that was really confusing and discouraging.

Anyway, I'm now concerned we will have more issues because the only co sponsor I was able to find makes $40,000 a year - which is more than enough to sponsor my husband. However, he was a student last year so his tax returns show little to no income. I added a letter to my package when I sent it back explaining this but I'm really worried we will get another RFE or that we will be rejected. I'm not even sure if they send out second RFE's.

If this co sponsor isn't accepted I don't know what we can do. I don't make enough, and I don't know about other people's experiences getting co sponsors but it's very hard. Not many people want to take the risk or show their income, which is completely understandable. But yeah, does anyone know if it's possible to be approved as a co sponsor regardless of what the tax returns show? Because from my knowledge looking at people's cases it seems they really mostly care about tax returns...
