How old can the affidavit of support be?

Hi Vjers!

My future father-in-law filled out the affidavit of support to act as a joint sponsor for my K1 visa. I asked him back in September if he would mind doing it and he said yes and sent me the completed documents and the accompanying evidence on October 4. I received my NOA2 that same day and my interview is at the Montreal Consulate on December 21. I was wondering if it will be okay that the affidavit will be over two months old or should I have him do it again?
