Just wanna confirm that I understand correctly -- Does CSC handle all F2A I-130s? Mine was submitted online yesterday with an IOE receipt number.  Thanks!!

All LPR petitions start at CSC.

Thank you!  This is quite comforting, as the USCIS processing timeline website seems to suggest other service centers also handle F2A I-130 -- among these NSC is taking 19.5 to 25 months(!), compared to 11-14 months for CSC ...

When you get the receipt it will indicate the service center.   It will be California . . .   unless there is something completely crazy.

We transferred some of the following cases from the California Service Center to the Potomac Service Center, the Texas Service Center, the Nebraska Service Center and the Vermont Service Center:

  • Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES (F2A) for spouses and children of permanent residents

My spouse and I had our interview I-485 For adjustment of status in chicago uscis. Everything went well, we provided many documents and had everything ready by an immigration lawyer (that confirmed that the interview went smoothly). Do you guys have an idea of what will be the next step ? How long is it gonna take them to issue my green card?

If they did, as stated on their website for 2020, then I truly lack understanding of the current processing times that are seen on their web site. For F2A I-130 California has gone down to earliest from 12 month to 8.5 months (very good for me if true and I do not get transferred) whereas Nebraska has gone way-up to earliest 20.5 months, likewise Potomac earliest 26.5 months, Vermont earliest 15 months (not so good but not so bad), only Texas shows real short time at earliest 5 months. If that is spreading work load then I am dumfounded, only left to believe that the info shown is rather unreliable (understatement)

Just too add: Receipt date at CSC is shown as April 6th 2019 for enquiries (F2A I-130)

The only date for F2A that is worthy of note is that of California service center.

Other service centers don't originally process F2A by default, unless CSC transfers to them.

So the dates for F2A in other service centers cannot be taken very seriously.

Hei guys! We got transfered to California a month ago from Nebraska. My husband is a US citizen filing the I-130 for me, his wife.  Anyone knowing how long they take to process US citizens cases(it is not listed on USCIS website)? And did you have experiences with requesting expedites in california? How stict they are? Do expedites get approved often with the California Center?
