My PD is 10/17/2019 and I got approved Aug 9, 2019, so my approval was on the same day as yours, and just like you I'm still awaiting for CSC to send my petition to NVC. So, if you get any updates, it's more than likely I should not be very far behind. Please update me if you get any status changes.

Hi, any update on ur case yet? As of last night, nvc said they have not received mine but someone who got approved at california the same day as me just received email from nvc saying they got his case. I dont know whats going on with mine. Have u got any newsfrom nvc? Anyone who got approved in august got any news from nvc? Pls share. Thanks to all.

Unfortunately, I have not received any updates on my case being received by NVC as of today. I am still awaiting my case to be sent to (or received) by NVC. The last time I spoke to someone from USCIS (which was about 2 weeks ago), the officer told me that the cases can take up to 90 days to reach NVC. So I've marked 90 from the date I received my approval on my calendar. It is much easier and less stressful (especially predictable) for me to wait with that predefined time frame in mind than to be constantly wondering when (and if) my case has been received by NVC.

Hey guys I just recieved  an email says that my case is transferred   to another office

Is that something that can make my case faster or not ????

My PD 10Aug2018

It all depends on from where it was transferred from, and to where it was transferred to. For example, if your case was transferred from USC to any other service center -- that is a very good thing. However, if it was transferred from, say TSC to CSC then that is a bad thing (it's much, much slower at CSC than at any other service center).

You are indeed quite correct that Nebraska service center (NSC) is now slower than California (CSC) service center. So this is a net positive for you...be very happy they have done that. CSC is processing cases at least 3.6 months ahead of NSC. Based on your PD, I would say your case is close to be adjudicated...perhaps between November and December time frame.

Ps. What is that mobile app you're using to monitor your USCIS case status? I've never heard of such an app.

Hey,

Thank you all for posting this information. It is indeed useful to know that you're not the only one coming through this! I apologize for my potentially newbie question, but still: we're past 8 month of I-130 petition sent and I only received a NOA1. Is there anything you would suggest doing, like checking on them, calling USCIS or should I just wait? Because I can see you guys are waiting way more than I am currently. I would still appreciate any suggestions!

Hope you have a great day!

If you filled out your profile's "timeline" perhaps someone might be able to help you with what you're asking for. Your timeline would have your priority date, NOA1 date and these pieces of information are necessary in calculating an estimate for your NOA2.

Ok, I see that you've updated your timeline, so I can do an estimated calculation of when you may expect to get your NOA2. The Visa Processing Times website (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) currently lists between "15 Months to 19.5 Months" for them to process a petition. However, based on feedback here on this site, they are actually moving at least 2-3 months ahead of their official published time lines. Therefore, I estimate you should be getting your NOA2 between the following time lines: Feb 21, 2020  (early estimate) to June 21, 2020 (late estimate). Hope this helps.
