Are we allowed to change jobs from what we wrote down  2 years ago? or is it a good idea to keep the same one on file and not take the better job? Thank you.

You are allowed. But its better to stick to the current one till the process is over.

Does it update on your case tracking also?

It's not updated there yet. But when I check the case with just the receipt number (without logging in to my USCIS account), the status is up to date.

They have transferred our case from Cali to Texas too! PD Date 20th Feb 2018. According to current timeline, Texas service center is processing Dec 2018 cases while our date is already passed. Anyone has any idea how does it work? Case is for Permanent resident filing for a spouse

So happy for you , my pd oct 23, 2018. Do you think our case will also transfer ? 🤔are you in India?

Hey Ishan, as promised, I go received my RFE on July 15 -- exactly one week after my status changed that they sent it out (July 8). I got an RFE because I foolishly sent in my wife's divorce nisi and not her final divorce decree. Honestly, I had no idea about such matters. When my wife handed me her divorce nisi, I thought this was the oficial document that one receives to prove they were legitimately divorced. Anyways, that is really the basis for my RFE -- a completely preventable occurrence had I done a better job in my research.

Hi, glad you received the RFE letter, i hope your process from now onward goes smooth and soon, wish you all the best. Thank you so much for posting , looking forward to our cases.

Thanks for the well wishes. By the way, did you send back your RFE with your DNA test results (and any other evidence you decided add)? Have they received it or even approved it as yet?

Follow up question to my job change during the i130 for alien relative filing.

Recap- early 2018 is PD, had this job months before filing to current. It is a soul crushing one.

Previous answer- "You are allowed to change jobs but it is recommended I keep the current one"

New questions

1.What if I move my current full time job to part time and pick up another job but still keeping the old one?

2. What if I got a job offer 4 hours away from my home and I want to move to new job because they pay significantly more so will just have that job only?

Is it recommended to still not move and keep lower paying job? Thank you for any follow up detailed answers, I really dislike current job and don't pay well and I have offers for new ones already.
