Hi,

I had applied for my Wife (F2A) as I am a LPR.

PD: 05/15/2017

USCIS Approval: 03/25/2019

Until today I haven't received anything from NVC, is it normal?

Yes its normal, you can call and ask when they received your file - but it generally takes 6-8 weeks after they've received it for you to get a case number etc

So I notice the visa bulletin final action date has taken a great leap forward for the past 3 months. Any idea why that's happening? And will it stay that way for a while? I just hope it doesn't regress because I need it to reach my PD 10/6/17 for CSPA purposes lol.

I have called them last week, they said its not showing in the system.

How much time it took in your case from USCIS approval till receiving notifications from NVC ?

My husband called a few weeks after approval and we were told our case was received at NVC two weeks after it was approved. Six weeks later we got our case and invoice numbers (via phone call from husband again as they "didn't" have either of our email addresses).

Did anyone notice that Filing Date chart is stuck on Dec 17 for from July 2018 visa bulletin(~10 months).

It is so frustrating.I am waiting for it to become May 2018 ,so that i can apply for AOS.

Any insights/thoughts on this.?

Exactly what I was thinking of. I see recently the final dates of action date is jumping months whereas the dates of filing is barely jumping weeks.

Last time the dates for filing had a major change was back in June or July when it moved 3 months.

Does anyone explain this further or has an insight when the dates of filing might have a major change?

If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address'

They don’t send EAD cards with the tracking number , therefore you can’t get it since it was never assigned to the package . Usually it takes a few days to receive , I would say less than a week . In my case took something around 3-4 days .

My priority date is 03/03/2017 for F2A in California Service Center and according to May's visa bulletin , My PD is current but since I am abroad , I can't file for adjustment of status and I need the petition to be approved. I wonder if USCIS somehow changed my F2A category to F2B by mistake because now I am over 21 years old. (I am protected by the CSPA)

You should call and inquire about your petition, since your PD is before their current processing date.

PD is June 07, 2017

Still waiting for the case to get approved.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on as I can see cases from Late June and even July getting approved, while my case is still pending approval.

I was always under the impression that cases are treated on a First in First out basis.

It looks like I was wrong.

Maybe the region/country plays a role?

I'm the petitioner for my wife, who's living in Pakistan. Just a little bit of extra info for those who're in a similar situation as me and wondering all sorts of things.

To anyone who's reading this, I request you all to send a little prayer our way :)

And to those who already have their petitions approved, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Best of luck for the interview!!

It saddens my heart to read post like this....We are all in the same boat; my PD is June 02, 2017 and still not approved or Deny or RFE. I'm not sure what's going on at the USCIS office but most cases with PD's June 01 through June 10 are still not approved regardless of country status though I'm pretty sure country/region also has a role to play in approvals.

Whereas late June through August 2017 PD's are getting approvals daily. I believe the persons handling this time frame(June 01 to 09) is either slow or is on vacation or what do I even know!...LOL...nothing but...Just speculations!

Pathetic situation for us all.
