Did anyone notice that Filing Date chart is stuck on Dec 17 for from July 2018 visa bulletin(~10 months).

It is so frustrating.I am waiting for it to become May 2018 ,so that i can apply for AOS.

Any insights/thoughts on this.?

I’ve applied for both , received a combo card . And yes, because you are applying for an EAD under the new category (c09) you can’t really use it to extand your OPT one . If you would already have had an AOS EAD and would apply for its renewal , you could use the expired one until the new card arrives . But in your case your current EAD is different category . That’s not an information I can swear on , but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works .

I received 3 notifications today. One for EAD, one for travel doc and one for fingerprint fees received. What about i485? Since they specifically mentioned fingerprint fees has been accepted. Shouldn’t I get one for i485 too? Or is it the same? Do you have any idea?

Well, first of all congratulations on the acceptance of a case, which seems to me like it was . As of I-485 receipt - yes , I think you also should have a receipt for that . May be will arrive later ? There must be a case number .

Thank you. That’s what I thought. Probably wait for the mail to arrive now. Just hope it arrives before my infopass appointment on 1st of April. I have about 4.5 months in current EAD. I hope new one arrives before that.

Hello,

I had applied for my children that are under 21, I am a green card holder or LPR.

PD was Jun 12th 2017

I-130 Approval notice received 3/25/2019! Approximately 21 months after I applied.

I do have a question, on the I-797 it told me to wait 30 days before contacting NVC if I havent received anything else in the mail, is there anything that I need to do in the meantime? My kids are in Sweden and the I-797 notice said that the NVC will contact the beneficiary (which are my kids). Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi, no you don't need take any steps as of now. Wait till NVC send you the letter to upload all supportive document, which is I864, DS260, and your tax transcript. Also, NVC will contact who ever they  have on the application it can be you (petitioner) or your kids( the beneficiary) or it can be both.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hello all, I just received the I-130 approval notice for my wife's petition. Priority date is July 7, 2017 and the notice date is April 11, 2019, through California Service Center. It has been a long 21-month wait! Hopefully this gives some hope to people with PD in July 2017!

I am waiting for the NVC letter. The website says that the first step is to complete the Choice of Address and Agent (DS-261) form after receiving the NVC letter, and "Please allow up to 3 weeks for the NVC to process your DS-261 before continuing to the next step.". So up to 6 weeks for the NVC letter and up to 3 weeks before I could submit the supporting documents. Is this timeline realistic? Does anyone have a more realistic timeline for NVC processing?

Thank you!

How is it possible that your petititon got approved while my PD date is earlier than yours ( 3 March 2017 ). I didn't get any RFE either. F2A category and it's been nearly 27 months for me.
