Has anybody gone through the same?

hi guys, my I 130 case was transferred from CSC to National Benefits Center . What does this mean?

PD is 22aug 2017

I am starting to freak out...☹️

That means that your case got transferred to National Benefits Center , that’s all. Now you I-130 is under their service center , so California processing wait times aren’t applicable to you anymore , which means that your petition should be done soon, they usually transfer cases to reduce a backlog, which is huge for California service center these days. So, I only see the positive side of that- your petition should be moving faster now.

I thought your I130 is still pending approval as in snippet it shows case was received.

U can check official California time I130 processing timeline using the link : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

U should be able to submit query when California date processing date has past ur petition date.

My PD is March-18. Any timeline would suggest to have I-130 approval for Permanent Resident.Service center is California Thanks

They're currently doing between Jan-March 2017 so you have at least one year of waiting still.

i know some people who just waited for 6-9 months for their I-130 approval. i dont know how that happened.

I suggest you stay patient. There is nothing else you can do.

It will take time. A lot of time.

P.S. Just an update. My PD Feb-02-2017. I just got an approval. Sep 29 2018. So, 1 year 8 months in total. Case Transferred to NVC. Now waiting for the welcome letter. Just letting you know, so you all can figure out on what dates they're right now.

P.P.S. Thank you all, for posting your approval dates. That helped me a lot to be aware of the real waiting time. And here is my time now. I hope it was helpful. Wish you all patience pals. Patience is the key here. ✌️

Hello how are you ?

I want to ask about upgrading I-130 from F2a to IR1

if my husband get his citizenship before i-130  approval and upgrades the petition . will it be processed faster or will the priority date be pushed back to his updating date in IR1 waiting line

our priority date is in May 09 2017

and he has a Citizenship interview by the end of October
