My guess is that only hers appears because he is a derivative applicant, with your wife being the principal. If you included him on the i-130.

Actually, I found this same topic on this forum, and this response is really helpful: (It is for a fiancee beneficiary, but I believe it applies to your case also)

Awesome.  Thanks Tenreyro

I filed I-130 for my spouse in Mar 2017 as an LPR. I turned USC in Nov 2017, and my application was upgraded to spouse of USC from spouse of LPR on Dec 6, 2017. The application is pending at CSC

Based on forums, the I-130 for spouse of USC is getting approved with May 2017 priority dates, but my application is not yet approved. I went to an infopass appt last week, and they told me that my application was "touched" on Dec 13, and they dont know what happened with that touch. They were unable to provide any other info, and asked me to just wait.

Can someone please advise what can I do to expedite this in any way given other applications with the same category are getting approved.

Hi there I'm in the same boat as you are i applied for my wife on Feb 23 2017 and turned a USC on Jan 4 2018 my application got upgraded on Jan 27 2018 I am still waiting for my application to get approved. I have no clue what to do now and if u can tell me if u got any update's yet from CSC yet. Wish u all the best and please if u can stay in contact with me that will be great.

My application was upgraded on Dec 6, and I got approval on Jan 23. I would suggest you to go to the local congressman's office to raise a request regarding this case saying that your priority date is already current as a USC, and not sure why the application is not yet approved. You should also call USCIS, and see if they can provide any info - talk to a level 2 supervisor if the first level is not able to provide any info.

Based on the immigration-forms-data from USCIS (https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data) did a small analysis on rate of approval for i 130 Family-based Preferences (FB1/FB2a/FB2b/FB3/FB4) at  California Service Center from 2016 Q1 till 2017 Q4.

High no of cases has been received between  2016 Q3 to 2017 Q2 .

The approval rate gone down since 2017 Q3. That is why the current DP is still with 4th Nov 2016 at California Service Center

My wife became a USC in May 2017 and the application was upgraded in June 2017. They sent an RFE in October and we sent the response and was confirmed received on 31 Oct 2017. There is still no change after that. We called USCIS several times and were told that it is still under review

Does any one know why there is no I-130 processing time shown for California Service Center under U.S Citizen filing for spouse?

My guess is that it is mostly handled by Nebraska Service Center, and CSC only handles the one that upgraded already at CSC. Any related question you might find more helpful answers at the corresponding forum inside Visa Journey:

I have called to ask about this, have spoken to both tier 1 and 2 officers, none had any information. Have made about 3 inquires already, all with the same reply of “Your case is with-in processing time”. My PD is Jan 2017, and still no update after receiving NOA1. I have emailed CSC through the follow-up email, twice, on both times I titled my email as “Erroneous reply received” which is one of the reasons of which they allow you to contact them for. The error being that the reply to my inquire indicated me to follow the link to check the processing times chart (which does not show “U.S Citizen filing for spouse”). No reply was received for either email (I even included screenshots to make my point). Overall it has been very frustrating, not receiving any sort of update, and there being no communication option available for us customers. I believe it may be like others have mentioned on this threat already, and that they are just keeping up with the visa bulletin availability, but at the same time I see people from other service centers receiving updates at a much quicker pace than cases of the same type at the CSC. I might just have to speak to a immigration lawyer and see if I have any other options, if anyone here has any info that would be greatly appreciated too.

In my opinion, you have not walked down every road. For example, Why don't you make an infopass appointment and see the real status of your case face to face with someone, and see if it was indeed upgraded?

If they told you it is an error on their part, ask them to expedite your case as a form of they making it up to you, since that is one of the option when requesting an expedited case.
