Does anyone know if you're allowed to go on international travel between the interview and the oath ceremony? When do you give up your green card? Though it's looking very unlikely given the timelines now, just checking in case we get caught in this situation. Thanks in advance!

Does anybody know when is the earliest time you can ask state senator to inquire about the application?

Also, when you call uscis, you just take your chance and ask to speak to a "second tier officer"? Is that the correct designation?

Yes you are allowed to travel. A friend of mine just did and she told them at the interview that she would be travelling so her oath wouldn't be while she was gone. You don't give up your green card until oath

I plan on visiting my family back home in April. Just in case my interview fell on those couple weeks, am I allowed to reschedule it? Just like I rescheduled my fingerprints?

Well based on your green card date, I assume you are filing based on the 3 year rule. So you actually hit 3 years today. Hopefully you hear something today and you are in line. To your earlier question about Senator, you have to check the USCIS processing page and once that date has been exceeded and you are not processed then you would have a case to contact your senator. St. Paul looks to be processing things well so hopefully soon you will hear something. All the best.
