I'm in the same position. I had fingerprints on 12/27 and since then no updates. I created account and it only says that they received my application. 

I'm worried because the person doing fingerprints didn't seem to be so confident, system didn't like the prints all the time and it took a while to get them all "green". I'm a little bit worried as to something might have been screwed up. 

I filed in Arizona and I see almost everybody go their inline already. I don't believe I have issue with background check, as just a year ago I did my removal of conditions and there was no issue. 

 

Also, how do you find out your field office? I receive all correspondence from NBC in Missouri. I assume my field office is in St. Paul, MN, as there I had interview for adjustment of status.

@janadark Your field office is (usually) the closest USCIS office to your place of residence. Also, should be the same office you went to get your biometrics done. 

 

I think the processing rate has definitely slowed down due to myriad reasons. The first one being the incomplete background check issue with the ELIS system. I noticed that many September and October filers are still waiting for their interviews (assuming that the data on VJ is somewhat accurate) and many people have had their interviews and oath ceremonies cancelled due to the same reason. This will undoubtedly affect those of us who filed later since the earlier filers had to be re-processed. The second reason might be timing. With the incoming of a new Secretary of Homeland Security, USCIS probably has to receive new directives in order to resume workflow as usual. Hopefully now that a new DHS Secretary has been approved, processing times will improve.

Thank you. I'm, just concerned, as most of the Arizona filers who had their biometrics in december already got inline. I've read that ELIS issue doesn't affect those who have NBC numbers (I have NBC). I think i'll give them a call and see if it brings anything.

For some reason I'm not receiving updates from the USCIS! 

My case has an update,  I'm in line for interview 01/30/2017. I have not received any notification yet.

hey newuser2- do you see an entry of the new status on the left hand side of your case history ? I am still stuck in FP notice and i did my FP back in December. I am worried :(

I don't know how to check the history,  I don't see any history.  I usually use this page to check for updates

Hopefully you will have an update soon, good luck.  I looked at October filers,  most people are still in line for interview,  things are just moving very slowly.

I don't even see FP in my history on the left, only that they've received the application. I did my FP on 12/27.

Congratulations!So glad to see that November filers are getting a couple of interviews under their belts :) 

Naturalization Journey (Based on 5 years as a PR):

November 21st 2016 - Sent N-400 to Dallas Lockbox.

November 30th - Check Cashed.

December 1st - Email/Text Notifications.

December 8th - Hardcopy of NOA received (Priority Date 11/25).

December 9th - Biometrics Appointment Letter received.

December 19th - Biometrics Appointment.

January 4th 2017 - "In Line" for Interview.

June 9th - Online status changed to "Interview was Scheduled".

June 12th - Interview Letter received.

July 19th - Interview (NYC). Requested a "delayed Oath" for after September 4th 2017.

September 11th - Oath Letter received. Honored my request for a delayed Oath Ceremony. 

September 14th - Oath Ceremony.
