Thank you @canuck32. Congratulations again!  Did you get your invitation letter before Irma or after? Our Kendall and Miami FOs are quite close concerning processing time.

It came the Friday before Irma.

If it is helpful, I overheard someone in the waiting room at the Miami Field office who was interviewed for citizenship say that she was a January filer.  Good luck!

Wow! A January filer in Miami? Awesome news!

11 months total since my priority date was mid-November 2016.

My husband and I had different questions and we had our interviews on the same day with different interviewers so I think it just depends but they asked me the following:

1: Name an amendment to do with voting

2. who becomes the president if the president can't serve

3. Name a right from the 1st amendment

4. Why did the colonists come to North America

5. What was America's concern during the cold war

6.  I think the last was who signs bills into laws but I can't quite recall.

In the Miami field office they do Oath ceremonies every Friday morning.  I have to be there at 7:30 AM.

Thank you @canuck32. Congratulations again!  Did you get your invitation letter before Irma or after? Our Kendall and Miami FOs are quite close concerning processing time.

My FO is Miami, too. My priority date is March 2017, so I should not expect to receive an interview letter anytime before March 2018, I think.

Same here @sunshinestate2013 But I think the processing time cove the time between NOA date ( or at least filing date) to Oath Ceremony Date. It means if we filed in March we should  get the interview invitation letter 1 month before .. or might be it is mostly my wish:)). I hope we will get it on December-January at least. Cross fingers and hope... wish you all guys good luck!

Let’s cross our fingers, @Investinmiami, and hope we get our interview letters sooner than later.

Dallas filer. has anyone gotten interview letter yet :(

I had a infopass appointment today... They basically advised me to go to hell and asked me not to come back before 6 months.. I think it will be JAN/FEB 2018.. before we get something. lady told me, that i should be happy that i am not illegal and should enjoy my permanent resident benefits instead of getting worried about my citizen ship interview. Stupid ppl...

Ahahah. I wasnt really in the mood of laughing but that made me laugh.

Well to relax you a little bit. Dont take it personal. I am sure they have to deal with 100’s of people with all kinds of questions and concerns. Unfortunately they become like these because of some non-sense people. I know a guy in another forum that visited a local office worrying about his interview after a month of giving his fingerprint. And trust me, they deal with many more of nonsense.

So take a deep breath and stay positive my friend.. look at the full part of the glass; you are not illegal :)
