Hi,

I applied for my AOS on 31st December 2006, and at the same time, applied for EAD and AP. Well after a few notices and a few touches etc etc, I got the biometrics appointment, and then 2 weeks later I received my green card in the mail !!! The "welcome to the US" notice came a week after the green card!! Anyhow, even though my AP is redundant now as I have the card, they are still touching it so must still be processing it !! Crazy. That would make the current timeline 3 months exactly for the AP and still processing.

My friend applied for her AP in November 2006 and received it mid-February 2007 so about a 10 week wait for her.

What stage of the AOS are you at? Hopefully you will have the same luck and get your green card very soon.

Hi,

Well, I had my interview on the 6th March, and was told that I'm still in FBI namecheck, so it could be 2 weeks, it could be 6 months, who knows. I applied for AOS and EAD back in November and received EAD beginning of Feb, so that wasn't too bad of a wait.

Congrats on getting your greencard so quickly! I am jealous :)

I havent filled in a timeline on this but I really should I know.... I think my K1 and AOS were particularly fast - maybe someone at USCIS liked me or maybe my attorney was really bloody good !!! At least you have your EAD so you can work etc. Best wishes for receiving the AP, or even better, the GC very very soon :-)

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Scotland
Timeline

Right about 90 days.

It really only takes them about two hours to do it, but they wait.

If you want it sooner, request constituent services from your senators and congressional rep. You may get it a couple of weeks early.
