Robert, I forgot to mention....The place is over crowded...I had to wait outside. They do medicals for many countries...When you get in the door walk straight in and the USA desk is on right...it took about half a day to get through it....then you come back in the afternoon and pick up results to take to interview.....my wife needed shots and you have to walk down the street for them....they gave her 6 injections and she was sick as a dog for 3 days....There are places to eat at the next corner ( turn right leaving the medical compound)

Mike, could you share with us the 6 vaccinations she needed? My wife has a real fear of getting sick too. Is it possible to get some of the injections ahead of time by a local doctor?

Okay I just had a discussion with Anna...My mistake, it was 5 vaccines but only 2 needles. She just told me to call and get 1 injection wait a couple days and then get the other....We could not do that. Medical was on Friday and Interview was Monday am. She can tell you what the vaccines are...But she will write in Ukrainian....I couldn't understand her and she doesn't know the English words......She said something about what a dog gets...LOL

If you need to know the names of them I will have her write it here :)

Thanks Mike, looks like my wife will need similar as she is 52. If you can pm me with the names of the vaccinations in Ukrainian, I will pass it along to my wife. She will also need a flu shot.

I think things may have changed since June. My fiancé had his medical November 2 and he had to go back the following afternoon to get the results. Therefore, the embassy interview couldn't happen til the 4th.

Thanks, that is what the instructions say. Results available the next day after 3 p.m.

The instructions say $215. Irina says they told her 5050 Hrvna.

She must have really begged to get an appointment on Friday. She called yesterday. She kept putting off making the call. My next window for coming for the interview is mid December.

Wish you both luck! Will you be attending the interview with Irina?
