visting fiancee whilst k1 processing

Hi all I know this question gets asked alot but im calling on you English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish about your experiences of gaining entry in to the USA whilst your K1 visa has been getting processed.

I know coming from England will not be a high risk country if that makes sense.

I wanna see my fiancee for a couple of weeks in June and don't wanna get deported. I don't think I will but it will be in back of my mind.

Thanks

If you know it gets asked, can you do a bit of research then - use the search feature perhaps?

While I was going through the K1 process... I visited Russ many times, for several weeks at a time. This doesnt mean that you wont be questioned at immigration or even turned away.

My experiance was fine... I always took solid proof of my ties in Uk...but was never asked for it

Good luck!

oxo cubes make sure you bring them

some decent stewing beef

brown it

then I just add carrotts leaks what ever I can get off

add potatos later on

and then thicken the gravy.

sure you will find a decent recepie on the net.

For dessert you should bring some of those heinz tinned puddings.

I asked here cause I wanted to hear the experiences of fellow British people and not of someone from other countries around the world.

I'm from Ohio, so we're neighbors :) Paul is coming for a visit in 10 days so I'll PM you how it went (or didnt go depending on our luck  )

Oh and FYI, it states directly on the embassy website that it is ok for you to visit during the K1 as long as you have proper ties to the UK.

Im from London and I didnt even know that visiting my fiance in the US whilst awaiting K1 visa posed any problems !! When my husband proposed I was in the US with him and ended up staying 90 days, and applied for K1 whilst I was here. I then left to go back to the UK for a week and came back again for another 90 days whilst the visa was processing. I was asked at immigration why I was coming back so soon after such a long visit, and not knowing I could be returned to the UK, said Im staying with my fiance whilst my K1 is processed. The officer wished me a lovely wedding and stamped me in !!!

BTW being 'turned away' at POE on a visit is NOT being 'deported'.

you know what I mean

Yes, I do. I just wanted to make sure that you did (so that if you decided to travel and got turned away, you wouldn't think you were 'deported').
