Today i received the notice to appear to my interview for the green card (form i-485) which is set on february 10 at least 10.30am. Crazy since i did not even received my word permit or advance parole.

Congratulations! That was fast! I filed on Nov 7th in L.A. as well, I had my bio done on early dec and haven't heard anything else. The last update that appears in the system is that My fingerprints fee was accepted. Does your online case status online say something about interview ready to be scheduled or any update for I485? I don't have any updates for my I765 and I131 as well, last thing we've had was the bio appointment; I did it and had no updates since then. Does yours have any update on the system? Thank you for sharing!

I have no updates at all either. Last one was on Dec 08. I did biometrics on January 6th. :clock:

Nothing-  Still waiting!  USCIS is closed today for MLK Jr. Holiday.  Let's hope a large group hasn't decided to take the entire week off and get some approvals coming!  Day 61 for me!  It looks like EADs are processing faster than APs for some reason.

This gives me hope for our approval.  I am in San Diego which goes slower than Los Angeles-- but it would be nice to just see some activity.

A question to my fellow November AOS filers-- Do you think USCIS processes faster for certain countries?  In the year I have been a member of this website, my perception is that the UK and Canada go faster than other countries and Mexico goes really slow.  I might be biased due to the many hours spent on this website hoping my approval will come through tonight.  Would love to hear if anyone has any insight.  Its Day 61 for us... and still hoping that our EAD and AP will come through tonight... or maybe the next night... or maybe the one after that. :)

I think it has more to do with how straightforward the cases are... along with time of filing ofc :)

My opinion is country only matters during K1 consulate phase.  AOS processing depends on local field office.  Some are much faster than others.  Ours happens to be one of the slowest.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do  using the process times guide you can scroll to bottom and select your local field office to see their processing date for I-485.

They only asked my husband for a photo ID.  We brought our marriage license, his passport, along with a bunch of other stuff just in case.  We live over an hour away and I'm OCD on preparedness lol

Well  yea.. field office for those AOS that aren't transferred, but I see quite a few go through CSC for the AOS now as well... and the EAD/AP's go only through NBC so for those field office doesn't matter.

edited above.. CSC, not NBC
