thanks for the detailed reply. So we just have to take the marriage certificate while going for the Biometrics/Interview, that's simple. and for name change on SSN , Passport and D/L is it the same or do we need a court order or something like that ?

No court order no nothing. Marriage certificate is ALL you need for all name changes based on marriage. If it were another type of name change, then you'd need to go through court but not for marriage based. SHe just needs to start using it and whenever asked for proof show the certificate. It really is THAT easy I promise!

(My ex also requested a new copy of his birth certificate once and he got a square paper, not a long one like marriage certificates). So if that's what she has now then a photocopy of it should be fine. 

Yes, that square card is exactly what she got. Its kinda like a blueish color and it was 1 signature in the front, and one in the back. Thank you!

Yeah that's what my ex had. It's an official birth certificate but just in a different version so just send a photocopy of that. Good luck! ?

I just checked my mailbox and I already got my appointment for my interview. I dont know...I thought I have to wait for another 4 weeks after the biometrics until I hear anything from them. Is that normal? Is that a good sign? I dont know if I should be happy or worried. Strange feeling

Yes, but filling out your timeline helps the site in predicting approval times for you and others.

Not when I'm on the mobile site ...

No, no expedite at all. Maybe the fact that my case number (I won the GC Lottery) is very low helped me. Im so looking forward to that day. Now, lets start preparing documents again
