NOA1 date is the date they verify that they received your application :) which will generally be the date you are notified by email. This date is also stated in the snail mail receipt :D

btw welcome!

oh~ Notice date on my I797C was Dec 08, states on the top of the right corner, I received the hardcopy on 14 Dec in mail, so I suppose Dec 8th is my NOA1 date?

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

Received NOA hardcopy exactly two weeks ago, but no Biometrics appt letter yet, is that normal? I saw most of you received it around a week after NOA. Anyone have the same issue? Thanks!

Yes I got my NOA1 over a week ago and still waiting! I'm going crazy checking the mailbox hah

Hi, We did our biometrics last Dec 7 in S Semoran Blvd in Orlando office. My husband reminded me and the kids to leave all our cellphones and gadgets in the car, the funny part is when we are already checking in with security he forgot his cellphone was in his pocket and eventhough he is willing to go back outside to put it in the car the security said it was ok and let him in but told him just dont use it while inside.. but then again im not 100% sure if this is always the case :)

I just had the weirdest dream. We were in the interview and my husband was answering eeeverything wrong! Haha anyway, I think I am a lil worried after seeing that some feb/march fillers are still waiting for the GC.

After seeing others timeline (from Jan-May) I think mid Nov was a wrong time to fill lol because of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years...but we are already here so...:) let's hope for the best!

I found on the internet that it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks since the day you apply to get the Biometrics appointment letter. But keep in mind that thanksgiving, christmas and new years can add one or two more weeks :) I think you are still on time :) fill your timeline here so we can keep track of your process too :)

Was 12/7 the date you received NOA1 hardcopy in mail or emial notifcation? I filed on NOV so I think i should stay in this group, lol. Will fill the timeline later. Thx!

Oh you can be in any group, I wasn't implying that. I meant you may want to follow their thread as well.

12/7/16 is the day we got our G1145 notifications and also the received date on our hardcopy NOA1

lol I've been thinking the exact same thing but no matter how I look at it it will be the fastest for us. We couldn't have moved faster since filing i-129f or before for that matter. So I guess everything is happening when it's suppose to happen as they say :)
